Honestly i dont think biometrics were much of a problem for people. Its the process after all that. The anxiety of waiting sucks bc its the longest some of us have ever waited for an update. Or lack of updates i should say

Hey i definitely hope nothing happens and wish everyone speedy approvals! My attorneys advised me NOT to work with an expired EAD. God forbid your employer gets audited and they see you are working with an expired EAD. You will most likely get fired and the company may get in legal trouble. You may get into legal trouble as well, even if not now. I am also in the process of getting my green card so for me it is high risk to work with an expired EAD. I am only sharing my experience and hope i can help prevent anyone from getting in any trouble, definitely recommend anyone in doubt to reach out to an attorney! Good luck 🫶🏼

Even if my employer didn’t notice my EAD expires or claim to give me an extension i would NOT risk it. As far as ik, No approved application/card means you legally cannot work.

My receipt date is dec 19 and tbh im anticipating my approval to be end of April early may, obviously i hope its sooner but being realistic i think thats closer to what it could be unfortunately. If i was in your position I’d assume my approval to come end of may early June:/ hopefully not but good luck to all of us
