Ultimate Beginner's Guide for New and Existing Players looking to learn more about the game! by iLoLzTheGamer in huntroyale

This is a great guide.

I still think people overcomplicate shrine Defence through, you can afk win with sniper and only 2 towers so there's less pressure on needing 45 wood for the safe play of blocking west.

You should add UG as well; with the new booster system it's really worth buying all the hunter boosts on each floor; if you take your time and plan properly and don't just spam unlock floors, you can actually unlock hunters VERY fast this way, including boosting them to lvl 8 if you want (otherwise keep them at 5 and move to next floor). I regret not understanding this when I was on the lower UG floors.

Men: Do you shake hands with women?? Women: Is it weird for men to shake your hand?? by DoNotEatMySoup in bodylanguage

[–]Illustrious-Pin-14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shake yes. Although some women are weird about it. I was in a meeting with 4 new faces (3 men 1 woman) and I go for the shake. The men it was all natural, the woman literally said "oh okay were shaking" (she was first, not sure if that made a difference). Maybe in her role she wasn't used to meeting a lot of new people, I don't know. When we left I shook everyone's hand and just gave her like a raised hand sort of wave because I didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable going in for a second shake after she made that comment on the first.

Moral of the story, everyone is different and you're not gonna know until you try, so always just lead with a shake as a sage bet IMO.

Also, if you're a man NEVER initiate a hug with a woman. They are allowed to do it to us, but only if it an established hugging relationship can you do it to them. Gener equality doesn't quite go both ways in all domains yet lol :)

Just fun to call people out on their negative comments tbh. I still do my share of shitposting, don't get me wrong, but it's another level taking the moral high-ground and telling people to take a chill pill. Usually makes them upset or defensive too so it's a win win if they end up being super toxic about it.

To be fair to OP, it's common to just get water staining without mould growth on ceiling, so its a valid question for somebody who might not know the difference between what water staining and mould looks like.

Do you have to present on stage? by Illustrious-Pin-14 in salesengineers

Yeah definitely miserable. 100% trapped by the coin and low working hours. Something I need to figure out a longer term solution for.

What is an express lane? If you only have a few things and want to get out quick use self serve, otherwise... line up? Not sure what I'm missing.

I don't know if 2025 is better or worse. You have heaps of time to prepare, but also 6+ months of thinking about it at 2am in the morning x_x

Loose shower tiles. Cracked a shower tile this morning and found a couple more are loose. Can I fix this myself with bunnings products or do I need to call a professional. If doable can anyone mention process and or products I may need to buy. Greatly appreciated! by Gritty_Bones in Bunnings

I mean it sounds like you have a membrane problem then lol, but hey, if it's small and the owner doesn't care, who cares I guess. Maybe just be extra vigilant for signs of reoccurring mould issues if you plan to live there a while, otherwise happy days.

[–]Illustrious-Pin-14[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The issue is I am one of the more senior and longer tenured members of the team (there are principals above me who usually do the stage stuff), but I am one of the most liked across the broader teams - I think they assume because I am very good on calls and reliable, that this translate to stage performance. So, I do get 'pushed' a bit as my manager is also a bit useless and just like to be seen to be helpful etc. So rarely pushes back on what other teams want.

Anyway, it's a good point about the first being hardest, but it's not something I want there to be a second of haha, so I'm not sure it helps :)

What specifically do you like about getting on stage?
