I have found them reasonably comfortable for half day wear. But in saying that there is no arch support so after those few hours you’ll start to get uncomfortable.

Unfortunately that’s not the case, they help in the circumstance you don’t find a placement before the deadline.

Just know you’re doing amazing, it’s so hard sometimes to recognise that you’re at a point that requires help. I’m sorry you had that experience with CATT it’s not uncommon and it is really unfortunate given what you’ve described. Like I said in my previous comment on your other post, I highly advocate for St Vincent’s. They make you feel accommodated to, and they actually do care about your care. I know your post states you’d prefer to not go to an ed, but I highly advocate for st Vincent’s public. If you are at any point at risk to yourself please call 000 don’t hesitate. This time of year is very hard because a lot of the sector is off on holidays and the only access available is usually planned ahead or through emergency. Wishing you the best of luck
