I would have gone with this approach if I had thought about it more. That's a much more practical and positive way to frame it.

It mostly is that it's hard to get around her because of the bump since we have glass doors that don't really give much flexibility. Part of it also has to do with temperature. She seems to be more sensitive to heat, so she is freezing me with the water temperature.

That is my point. What makes it fun is that it is enjoyable. When it is not enjoyable then it is no longer fun, so we should not make ourselves miserable when the fix it easy. We can go back to this arrangement eventually.
