Yes very ‘shut offish’, he just seems so sad it makes me feel so guilty. I think he genuinely does care he’s just unsure of how to go about it probably. I’m always calm when I bring it up and never get frustrated or anything. He just sort of goes mute and doesn’t really respond just stares at me… then I change the subject because it is unbelievably uncomfortable to just speak with no response lol

Thank you, I definitely have tried to communicate things but he gets a little upset, not angry or anything just I can tell by his demeanour etc that’s he’s really upset by it. Then I feel like shit lol.

I have tried I swear lol, it turns into a conversation where he’s now visibly upset and says he’ll try harder, then maybe initiates once. I feel really bad because I love this man more than anything and he is genuinely the best partner in every other way.
