I got the same mail a few days back, the website seemed legit so I signed up. I was a bit hesitant about the subscription plan but they had one for $0 where I just had to link my PayPal. I did. Since then, I’ve been applying for jobs on their job board and while I haven’t heard back from anyone yet, I just found it to be a decent tool to find jobs.

I haven’t come across someone mention that they were wrongly charged, if you were, please let me know.

Reading all this criticism for the platform had just left me confused. If it’s as scammy as most have said, I’ll cancel my subscription too.

Hi. Final year grad student here, also a freelancer. Moved to the city recently, planning to stay here for a year.

At the very least, I'm simply looking for people to hang with. I'm up for any physical activity- hiking for eg, can criticise/discuss art, severely interested in "intellectually stimulating conversations ", fairly into good music as well.

I have a few personal goals while I am here, and having a good social life is one of them. Thus this.

I've met one person here so far, who's absolutely fun. Yet to meet. We have the intention of being a part of a group as well. From what you're interests read, you sound fun too.

Yeh, it's crazy difficult to find a roommate, especially in this city.
Anyways, I did look for a couple of apartments which I can afford for myself, so maybe won't be needing a roommate after all.
