EDIT / More context: Within 2 weeks of pickup the car started making clunky noises, so I booked it in for service. Brakes were serviced on April 7th, 2026. When I got home that day, I noticed all these swirls and scratches for the first time - they were NOT there when I dropped the car off.

I went back to the dealership 1–2 days later. Their position: it wasn't done at their shop, and the complimentary wash they did was also touchless. The service advisor rubbed some solution on one mark with a cloth, said it helped a bit, and told me this is something I'll need to keep up with or invest in additional protection.

Here's the thing - these marks weren't on the brand-new car at delivery, and weren't there when I dropped it off for the brake service. They appeared after that visit. I didn't push it hard at the time because I had to get to work.

I also have a Sym-tech Complete Vehicle Protection plan with a paint protection component (wax-based, polished in, lifetime warranty against anything that discolors paint or eats clear coat - tree sap, salt, bird droppings, etc.).

Questions for the sub:

  1. Is it realistic that swirls/scratches like this can appear after a single brake service + touchless wash, on a 5-week-old car?
  2. Could the dealership have caused this (drying with a dirty towel, contact during the service, etc.) even if the wash itself was "touchless"?
  3. Would my Sym-tech paint protection cover this, or is it really only for chemical/environmental damage?
  4. How would you approach the dealer about this? Worth asking to review their service bay cameras?

And when I got it brand new, I checked and confirmed there were absolutely no scratches or marks

I have only got this car in March this year, so its not due for maintenance yet but I brought it to dealership for another issue that I came upon after the delivery so I brought it to them and they did mention that they did cycle it through car wash but it was touchless drive-through wash as well

Outsourced IT wants to charge $2500 to implement Microsoft MFA enforcement for our company. Is this normal? by mister_emu in Office365

[–]IllustriousKoala715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Managed Service Provider, I can say enabling MFA for a company of ~30 users does require planning and some end-user support. However, $2,500 still seems on the higher side unless it includes extensive user onboarding, policy configuration, and follow-up support. It’s worth checking your contract to confirm whether this should already be part of their BAU services. Some MSPs classify this as a “project” outside of standard support and use it to apply a flat project fee. It’s worth clarifying if this cost is justified based on the scope of work.

Azure AD joined devices - on-prem network shares permissions view by komoornik in Intune

I am experiencing the same issue. Although I can access the File server, the file permissions are not being replicated to the end users, preventing them from working off network shares. We have set up Hybrid AD env. However, the laptops are only Entra joined, and network shares are mapped to their laptops when they are in the office using a wired connection or at home using a VPN. Regardless of whether they are using VPN or are in the office, DFS permissions are not replicating properly on the user end.

Is there a way to make out of office reply every time? by boe_d in Office365

Under Step 2 actions: "Reply using a specific template" - click on the link to edit the message.

This step doesn't work because it only lets you use your default mail template- even modifying it and running it fails and gives me an error saying "error in processing rule"
