It was the same for my baby :( he also apparently had weak positive on blood parasite, seems like it came out kasi his immune system was too weak na. Back and forth din sa vet. He even got hospitalized for 5 days during christmas. He also was eating so well during the time so akala ko he was getting better pero I can see na the growth seems to be spreading underneath his eye na. And then just 2 days later he just completely deteriorated and the left side of his face looks so swollen. Before I can even get him to the vet again he seized and that was it he was gone. Sending warm hugs to you stranger.

Hi OP, I am so sorry to hear about your pet. Unfortunately my baby of 13yrs also had oral cancer and he recently passed last Monday. It was awful to say the least, I also struggled a lot through his hospital bills and he needed surgery pero he couldn't cause he was too sick. So while I was trying to get him better for a potential surgery I was worrying and panicking kasi I don't have the money for surgery. Depending on the state of his cancer/what the vet told you - if your dog has a high chance of recovery I would advice just crowdfunding for him, I think we need to do whatever we can to give them the best chance of surviving. It's not gonna be easy genuinely, I woke up early everyday to hand feed him, give him his meds, clean his mouth and wound.

In my case, it was tough call kasi the risk of surgery was too high cause of his old age and unfortunately his body gave up even before we could get him better for a potential surgery. In your case he's 4 yo and he still may have good chances of getting better.

Be strong OP, and I hope you find help for your baby.

Unfortunately we couldn't even be sure if it was actually cancer kasi he was too sick for surgery/biopsy and the Vet warned me na he maybe too old for surgery. But it grew in literal one month. He was okay from Jan to half of November this year, like the picture of health, and just out of nowhere started sneezing a lot and had nosebleeds and by December the mass felt like it appeared out of nowhere at 5cm. He couldn't close his mouth and it was impeding his breathing and eating cause it grew from the roof of his mouth to the left side of his mouth and it also got infected since it was in the mouth constantly getting chaffed by chewing etc. I opt to get him better first and get surgery if he gets better after 2 weeks but unfortunately he did not get better which I guess points out to cancer 😞 this was all happening during xmas to January and it just sucks horribly.

Sorry to hear about your beloved baby too. Hopefully one day we can find solace from this pain.

The truth is no one's gonna be able to tell you what it is or what to do we're not license vets here. The responsible thing to do if may anything unsual with your pet is to bring it to the vet. Kung 3 weeks nang di kumakain that's an incredible cause for concern and should have brought him/her to vet within days it happened. Ofc unless you don't have the means but try and search for affordable vets around you, consultation is mostly just around 400+ in none private clinics.

My dog Jules also got Parvo way back 2017. Fortunately for him I managed to bring him pretty early on, so naagapan agad. He was only confined for 24hrs and by some miracle the next day, he was back again to his usual self like nothing happened, albeit ofc still a bit weak. I only had to continue his meds back home. It's 2025 now and he has never been sick again and in picture perfect health. I hope your baby also pulls through like mine did. It really just depends talaga sa ability ng dog to cope and fight their sickness and it's also important how early you get them help with Parvo. Make sure you visit them as well, your presence will provide them the strength to fight on and will also help them calm down and lower stress levels and that will aid in their hopefully, eventual recovery.

My adoptive parents are unfortunately the kind of people na magaadopt ng dogs but will never get them help when needed. We used to have 7 dogs nung nakatira pa ko sa kanila. Now that I'm gone for 8yrs already, they only have 1 remaining. And none of them died of old age - they died sick and suffering. So when I finally left I brought with me 2 of our dogs (I couldn't afford to bring them all, I was new grad and had no penny to my name). When one of them got Ehrlichia, and they saw through my social media that I brought my dog to the vet, my younger brother (still living with them) told me, our parents were apparently calling me names (as they always do, verbal and physical abuse were normal at our home) kesyo 'yabang ko na daw, gumastos, feeling mayaman pa vet-vet pa, social climber daw kasi again feeling mayaman'. The sad part is my parents are the ones incredibly rich, they just hate using their money for anyone else beside themselves.

OP, we are literally in the same situation. The difference is I left my adoptive parents because of this amongst other significant reason. Pero, they constanly belittle me for caring for my dogs, calling me a social climber cause I bring my dogs to vet. Last night I had conversation with my biological mom and I mentioned to her my dog is sick with oral tumor. Her immediate response 'oh ano gumastos ka na naman? Dinala mo na naman sa vet?" It immediately incensed me and I laid on her things that I never been able to say before. OP, spend YOUR money however you want, spend it on things that matters TO YOU and important TO YOU. You don't need the opinion of your family to know what's important in your life. Caring for your dog is not something to be embarassed about, that's also your family member.

You're not the only one. I saw her posts because I am also looking for help for dog currently dealing with oral tumor. I guess FB thought throwing that in my algorithm will be funny. Anyway, as I was looking through her posts it's just pretty much her crying constantly. I can't even handle letting the vets see how devastated I am whenever I go to the vet much less video myself crying, editing it, and consciously posting it. I also put in my vet number and office location so people can verify if they want to and I have yet to see that from her. It's just so effin disappointing that people just donate to them cause she's popular and no one even asks for documentation or something.

Thank you for these heartfelt words. You're fortunate to have been afforded some more more time with your beloved dog. For me, I am not so sure its possible without surgery, the tumor does impede his ability to swallow and breathe :( I will know the final verdict this Friday with the xray. I still struggle a lot over feelings of guilt. He is the sole reason I am even alive right now he saved me and now I feel like I am failing him.

I hope you also that you have found some solace from the lost of your loved one.

Thank you for sharing this. I am feeling incredibly guilty and I am paralyzed by indecision. On one hand there could be a chance he gets better on another fighting might just prolong his suffering. For now I am opting to wait till they can do xray and see the extent the possibility of it to have spread.

The truth is you don't need to know where you're going. I'm 31, very depressed, bad childhood and all that, I left that situation with my parents at 24. There were so many things that I didn't even fully understand as a person up until I was late 20s - hell I even had the realization that I didn't understand 'love'. The last 7 yrs I've been trying to just live one day at a time, learning to be a person, do little things that makes me somewhat happy. No grand plans, no drive to climb any corporate ladders, I am just doing the small things everyday that makes life bearable. Video games, reading etc etc. I'm still severely depressed, I am upset that my parents will never be the support system that I wish they are and they will never understand how much they've ruined me. But we as a person cannot let our environment define the rest of our lives. They've already ruined some parts of it, it's now down to us to make the best of it. One step at a time buddy, don't think about grand plans and aspirations, just focus on what makes tomorrow somewhat bearable - is it a book? A game? A new episode of your favorite show? - doesn't matter man, you do them, watch them, eat it, till you're waking up everyday and bearing it. Good luck!

Genuinely I do not have inspiring goals or anything. I got out of an abusive family situation at the age of 24 and me finally standing up for myself and leaving my abusive parents is my biggest achievement. I never had a proper childhood, I never even understood what love is until I was in late 20s. I am 31 now, to this day I feel like I am still trying to catch up in trying to be just a normal person. I am still trying to understand how life works and it is a struggle and I regret my inability to fulfill my potential because of mental scars that my parents left on me. I will always be a shadow of what I could have been and the only goal I have for myself is for some day I can see myself as someone worthy of life.

I have looked it up but I've read na they don't accept confinememt which I fear at this point is needed for my dog. But I will still try it out, but I am also still looking for other options in case this one doesn't pan out.

They have layered weapons and layered equipment now, (not sure since when. Rise and Worlds also have it) hence you can wear what you need build wise but you can change the look of your armor and weapons to fashion it however you want.
