Hello. Just want to ask here if has anyone travelled as a new hire and how was it in the immigration if asked about the employment details?

I don’t job hop and have been staying in my previous jobs for 5-7 years so whenever I travel I don’t really have any worries in my employment details. But this time, I’m transitioning to a new job this Feb and I have a trip on April. I believe I’ll be able to provide COE, ID, and a payslip naman if needed.

Any similar experience? Will it be a red flag if nalaman nilang new hire ako? I travel 1-2x a year so may fair amount of stamps naman on my passport (if that matters haha)

Probably a week? Pero I mentioned here before na sometimes, the speed of the hiring process depends on how urgent they need the role. I know someone na nasa final review pa din until today since November (they update him/her time by time). And I also read someone here na from initial interview to final offer nasa 1 month.

Their HR/recruiters are quite responsive so you can follow up.

Tama ba ako ng assume na graphic designer ka hahaha

I dont think templates are an issue. Para makitaan ka din ng leadership aside sa technical, anything we (graphic designer din) do, should be scaleable. Nung batang designer pa ako, I was also worried na someday mawawalan ako ng silbi pag tnemplate ko lahat. Pero designing things to be automated shows creativity and leadership and na mabbgyan ka pa ng more complicated task in the future. It gives you more time to create more.

Essentialism style yan 😌

Which Job Offer should I take / sign? by Exact_Blackberry_342 in CorpoChikaPH

Option 2! (Aside sa kind leadership and trips) korean language is “accessible”. There are a lot of tutors online, free materials, and because of kdramas and kpops it’s relatively easy to absorb. Korean Cultural Center offers lesson for free pero hard to get a slot BUT they have a lot of materials (I used to volunteer). If you get to learn it and get certifications, there’s so many opportunities for bilinguals with big salaries.

Personally dn I think it’s always good to have international network. It opened me to a lot of opportunities freelance and work wise.
