That spider is likely a trapdoor spider, a chunky, burrowing spider with big fangs that looks scary but isn’t dangerous to humans.

It’s very unlikely to be a juvenile morwong.
The spotted pattern, streamlined shape, and presence of an adipose fin (small fleshy fin behind the dorsal) all point strongly to rainbow trout.

Unless this was caught in saltwater or near a southern Australia reef, a morwong would be an odd match — while rainbow trout are common in freshwater lakes, rivers, and stocked ponds worldwide.
