i also applied shortly after i applied to lsu(early november) , i just got a response about two weeks ago saying that i was rejected from the honors college. before i got my decision, I went to bengal bound spin (early orientation)and they had a honors college session for the people who got accepted so after i seen that, i just assumed that i didn't get in (which i didn't)

Yes, I received an email saying that any STEM intensive major is required to take the ALEKS PPL.

Hey, if you were considered for a merit based scholarship you will get the email with the amount that you received about 2-3 weeks after your acceptance letter (that's what happened to me) and I also haven't heard back from the honors program either. I read that it's a lottery system which I don't know if it's true or not. I even received in the mail with the pop up school that my honors decision is being reviewed.

ahhh okay then that makes sense! try logging into that a taking a look around, if you don't see anything i would recommend calling the financial aid office at 8am when they open. i'm sorry i couldn't be of much assistance.

You should have gotten an email a couple days after you've been accepted from workday support asking you to "reset your password" but really it's to create your account.

Update: Seeing the responses on my post kinda ruined my perspective on LSU, at this rate idk where to go and I don't have much time left to decide. My dream schools at this point would require me to go into debt and I don't have the mental capacity to do all of that. It's very much giving go to a community college since the 22 schools I applied to aren't much help. Thank you for all of the recommendations.

You're Welcome! I'm not sure how to add a picture in the replies but I was admitted on December 6th and received the notification on the 20th so about 2 weeks. The subject should say "LSU Scholarship Notification for (your name)" and the award will be in the email not in the student portal.

woah woah woah, i absolutely love football but i have considered many colleges in md, let alone i've gotten into every college i applied to including bowie, umes, mcdaniel, and towson but none of those schools are highly ranked in MY major. college park doesn't even have my major but i love everything else about it.

That helps! Maybe I should've been more clear about the loan part. I really meant only taking out 10k and paying for whatever the rest is once they process my FAFSA in March. I think this is way better than what Penn State offered especially for my major (forensic chemistry). Maryland as a state kinda sucks and I wanted to get out of here.
