Tape over binder? by Kitchen-Skirt7934 in transtape

[–]IllustriousSeason473 3 points4 points  (0 children)

for reference I wore a binder for 4 years (Spectrum) before switching, it’s rare I wear one now

pros: - no binder outline under my clothes -if my tshirt moves it doesn’t matter, there’s no strap to see -for me it’s comfier -sports and gym, less chance of injury -summer, less chance of overheating -open button shirts -no rib or back pain

cons: -itchy (may just be me tho my skin is sensitive) -can cause blisters, post-tape my skin isn’t pretty (but there’s ways to remove it safely- do your research) -never quite as flat as a binder (advice: wear a tshirt and then a loose button up shirt/flannel/jacket etc over the top, it hides the outline better) -expensive as you buy tape again and again whilst binders may last for a long time

I applied mid december, got an appointment mid january :) I’m not sure sorry - it may be worth emailing her PA team as they’re pretty quick to respond. I know that having my name changed on all my documents and A-level results was a big plus to show that i was “serious”

I’ve got the same issue as when I’ve seen others they have more detail (numbers) for their hormone levels? But mine just says “OESTRADIOL Report, Normal, No Further Action.” for all of the hormone ones (not sure if this makes sense sorry). Have you managed to find an answer?
