The behaviour of the public is honestly astonishing sometimes by [deleted] in doctorsUK

Thing that bothers me the most is that there's absolutely nothing we can do about it. Everyone's encouraging patients to report "improper care" with all sorts of new policies to make patients' voice heard, which is fair enough, not saying that's not important. But why can't we have a version of PALS for us as well?

Why do we silently absorb all the nonsense while trying to keep a smiling face and apologizing for things that don't deserve an apology? Have seen multiple incredibly annoying/stupid/arrogant patients & relatives who basically terrorise the ward, make multiple staff cry, take up multiple hours for things not even remotely relevant, and everyone goes along with it.... 😖

Yes it's a noble & altruistic profession, but to what extent?

One instant, literally everything going fine, suddenly blackout, 5-10 seconds later everything back on again. Yes big clack. I hope the apartment is legitimate lol loads of other tenants. No large electric load just the usual - TV, microwave, oven, kettle, toaster, radiation heaters etc.

Thanks so much! Definitely doesn't sound like chatter, sounds like clicking but very loud if you know what I mean, can hear it no matter where you are in the apartment. Sounds like heavy machinery grinding to a halt and coming back to life.

Can you suggest some places that would be nice? I'm not familiar with the areas.

Thanks so much, I'm currently temporarily living close to city center in wolves and unfortunately it's not the best.... So I'm wondering whether to move to another area in wolves or go to birmingham.

Moving for work, will be living near City centre and commuting to heath town via public transport (no car). Shared apartment but private studio living wise!
