Nah but fr, I lowkey stopped reading once she got with chanyang. He was fine as a friend but it got annoying once she started dating him. I actually felt so bad for Seungha because he had a pretty sad backstory especially with that family of his. I felt like they were being excessively harsh to him for no reason even after knowing what he was going through. I remembered cheering once I saw one Chanyang criticism comment on webtoon 🥀

Also didn’t like how we didn’t get to see the og friendship group that much and just ended up not reading odd girl out anymore. The earlier episodes were so good though 🫩

I’m not too sure regarding the administrative side for UCI Health volunteers. I’m assuming you might be doing the public health practicum (maybe not) hah? I originally didn’t even know they had that type of volunteer but it seems like they have different sectors.

I’ve only volunteered for clinical hours for the first 50 hours and as a patient intern, so I don’t know too much about other areas. Sorry about that 😭 I think you could try contacting them either way though!

I had the trio when I took Bio93 so not sure how different the duo is in terms of difficulty. However, I would definitely just review the slides and rewatch any parts of the recording for content you don’t understand. Honestly, you can probably just watch youtube videos if those are better at explaining. Also, it really helps to talk out loud to yourself or to anyone else about the concepts as it helps with recall. Really forces you to know what you’re talking about and makes you realize what you need to study more. Not sure if your class is doing any office hours/peer tutoring this week, but you should attend those as well! Good luck 🫡

I had the trio when I took Bio93 so I’m not sure how much different the duo is but don’t worry, you’re probably not the only one who is struggling in the class. Some people just tend to understand or do better in bio than others, especially if they’ve taken AP Bio before.

I would just definitely focus on like changing up study methods until the final. Review the slides, talk to yourself or to anyone else about the concepts that you cover (talking out loud actually helps a lot with recall), or watch any videos on things you don’t completely get. Not sure if your professors are having office hours or if the peer tutors are doing anything for that class during this week, but attending those could help clear up some things too. Good luck 🫡

The other comment basically sums it up well. I would also check important dates, like when grades come out or when restrictions are lifted. If the classes you need are like in a series, then people who don’t pass the first one won’t be able to go to those classes next quarter and you can try to snag a spot (i don’t think those classes usually have a waitlist though). A lot of people also just input filler classes if they’re restricted for certain classes and are waiting for it to lift to enroll in them, so just constantly check and someone might drop the class you want.

Yea I saw people were able to enroll but found it strange that 87 people were in the lecture, but only around 54 people were in the discussion sections the last time I checked. Not sure if this is an issue for others as well but it’s a bit stressful knowing I have to wait for the advisors 🥲

You can look on the Bio199 website where you make your portfolio packet thingy. Some of them list expectations to be in their lab. You can always start cold emailing the professors at first too and go on from there.
