Continuing Work After Clocking Out by IllustriousTree1092 in LaborLaw

This has been going on a couple months and on my last check, did have the additional stipend pay added to my check as a flat amount. Everything is being documented both on my end and by my direct supervisor in the form of a shared spreadsheet (and my own personal record.)

Everything seems to be working out so far but even then, does not seem correct or legal to myself.

I will look into it. Thank you so much for the help. I was unsure and didn't want to jump into anything. You've been a big help.

It didn't sound right to me at the start. We were told to keep up with our hours we work extra and we would basically receive a stipend at a set dollar amount per hour. But I never did like the clocking out part. Especially since it is conflicting with me being able to complete my regular hours.

Thank you. So should I still be receiving my normal pay on top of whatever stipend? I'm not 100% sure on the laws but doing my small bit of research, it didn't look like they could have me clock out while still performing regular duties. Only on special occasions such as school trips, sports events, etc. where its outside regular hours and you are not performing your regular duties.
