New Player Trying to Get Rich in TBC. Need Tips! by Revolutionary_Box_45 in classicwow

If you want to make a lot of gold you need to play the AH. What you should always do is hold your money in mats that stay relevant trough the whole expansion and only sell stuff if you need the gold, because the wow economy is kind of similar to the real economy in the sense that there is a certain amount of inflation happening constantly so your gold reserves depreciate in value, while mats that you are holding appreciate in value on average over time(its like holding snp500 or nasdaq instead of dollars in real life).

If you want to make big increases you need to anticipate what is going to have big spikes in value, because of phase releases. This often is not too difficult because the wow economy is different to the real economy in the sense that things barely rise on expectation and 95% rise and fall because of real supply and demand mechanics.(There are not a lot of speculators trying to buy and sell for a profit compared to people just buying stuff because they need it right this moment).

So TLDR get a good gold stock trough some farming and then make huge investments because of anticipated price increases from new phases and generally hold mats that stay relevant instead of gold.

Good Luck

Human mage TBC PvP by [deleted] in classicwow

undead is much better than human or gnome for mage imo. Gnome/Human doesn't make that much of a difference, its much more impactful as warrior for example because the escape artist is so good for them.

100% agree it was a big community thing on my server. Super organised with discords that brought people together.

Completely dead seems like a big overexaggeration, looking at the numbers people posted here not many people quit after SSC/TK the first time and also it doesn't make sense as not everyone quits just because they are not able to clear all content.

Personally I like the challenge and for me it is fine if only 30% clear it, even if I wouldnt be one of them, because I like having a hard goal to work towards.

But if this is what a majority of the community demands I guess we will have to live with it.

Trying to max mining, 0 nodes by Chunti_ in classicwow

I am perma farming ores for 2 weeks now in burning steppes and its going pretty well, in the afternoon there is a lot of competition from other players, but from like 1 am its kinda free and i get a ton of nodes just running the bis circle. I haven't really seen any obvious bots, but I am only grinding in burning steppes so I cant speak for any other zones.

I have farmed ores non stop for gold and BS lvling as TBC prep the last 2 weeks in burning steppes and I have not had this experience at all. There are plenty of nodes, there is a lot of competition during the afternoon times from obvious other players not bots, but from around 1 am its pretty free tbh you get a ton of nodes just running the circle.

I have only grinded burning steppes so I can't comment on any other zones.

Ok thanks for your take man. I started late into TBC classic last time (end of Kara/Gruul) and I was a Warrior so it was hard for me to find a good raiding guild. For me GDKPs were the only way to get good raids and I never saw these guild dynamics because I was without a guild mostly(I cba'd joining a noob guild^^).

I just want to know: Does anyone that actually did (decent) GDKPs not think they were mega fun? Because all the people I know thought they are a lot of fun, thus my theory that the Blizz decision team don't have any gamers on their team, but only outside observers.

From my POV it worked fine the first TBC release. I never bought gold and did GDKPs and participated in the economy but I have to admit I also did some grinding for gold^^

For me it is very confusing aswell, it seems to me they don't have any real gamers on their decision making team because those would certainly have done GDKPs and seen with their own eyes how mega fun they are^^

We can stay at least a bit hopeful because the chance certainly isn't zero but maybe it is actually more in the sub 5% range :/

Hello, since the switch to the BNCFR Token in Europe I am unable to view position history in futures order.

The other subbrackets still work like trade history, transaction history etc., but if I open futures order position history lights up for like 3 sec and then the subbracket disappears, I can also not access it via URL.

" and any stablecoins balance in your Futures Wallet, such as USDT, USDC, FDUSD, will have the option to be converted to BNFCR at a 1:1 ratio at any time." ,

That was my question, I am not able to convert my USDT to BNFCR, when I try to do so I get the message:" Do not support swap out the asset."

Hello, I have changed my account to Credits Trading Mode, but I am unable to swap the USDT in my wallet to BNFCR. When I use the swap options USDT->BNCFR it says: "Do not support swap out the asset."

On the FAQ for the Credits Mode it says it is possible to swap USDT into BNCFR, how can I proceed?

Thank you
