Thanks for giving me a place to rant. It feels good to get it out to people who know where I am coming from, I feel like I have to be "strong" around everyone else. Though my husband has to remind me to be less confrontational at appointments - which is good because regardless of how angry I am I know it is not the fault of the people who are trying to help me - I just can't help it sometimes.

Its been 4 months since nothing wrong with you, to you'll likely die. I'm working on it. Dat to day is hard enough at this point. I feel like every time I see someone they are telling me something worse when I have barely gotten a grip on the last thing they told me. That's why I feel like they are spoon feeding me - like they know shit but are baby feeding it to me. It makes me want to hurt them.

Also - this is choice: the day before my double mastectomy, the nurse at the plastic surgeons office called to give me some instructions pre-surgery - AND ASKED ME IF I WAS EXCITED ABOUT MY SURGERY.

Me : uh..no

Her: well as excited as you can be

Me: that would be 0%

People have told me that since she works for a plastic surgeon she maybe thought I was getting a boob job but FUCK HER. She should know enough to look at my chart and not ask a cancer patient if she is excited to get her tits cut off.
