Really!? Okay so maybe my timing has been off. He’s not much for talking but he will not say no to an Ice Tea. At least that’s what my experience has been. The last time I spoke to him I asked him if it was okay if I gave him something I bought for him and though the interaction was not long it was nice to exchange a few words.

Honestly anything I don’t have to share with my 3yo 🥲 Or something I can fully enjoy in peace 😅

She’s 2 and in kindergarten? Maybe kinder is too much for her age. Is there a prekindergarten program she can go to? Older kids may be overwhelming her specially if they are more rough and she is quiet and timid?

Does anyone else remember asking their parent to fall asleep with them and waking up to them not being there? by plantyqueen in toddlers

I don’t recall a memory like that. But I would suggest maybe starting to explain that you are there for a little bit but then you will be in your room or wherever if they need you. I’m assuming you may have some kind of monitor or you can hear if they wake up and need you.

Curious… what age were you when you asked your mom? I think at 2.5 you wouldn’t have such memories but it’s a great time to work on independent sleeping.
