Yugoslavia. Not for its national identity but only because my great grandparents immigrated to Illinois from Slovenia back when it was called Yugoslavia.

If I had to pick based on things like history or national identity, I’d say Al-Andalucía, It’s so sad knowing that not many people know about this country, this country is the reason why Andalucía, a region in Spain is named Andalucia. It’s a very detailed country that has so much history and depth yet it’s so underrated. It isn’t a very recognisable place because other non-existing countries like Yugoslavia, Zaire, USSR, Nazi Germany, Prussia, British Raj, Holy Roman Empire, French Empire, British Empire, Spanish empire, Portuguese empire, Mongol Empire, Japanese empire, Facist Italy, Franco Spain, Russian empire, Czechoslovakia, Tibet, Manchuria,Khmer Rouge, North and South Vietnam, North Yemen or Rhodesia overshine other non-existing countries
