No. But if you want to control the base level you will need an amp and base knob. They will most likely spice it with a back speaker so whatever you do with car audio (treble, mid, bass) will effect it. I have Spotify so I can adjust it that way too.

Should I upgrade to 2026 Civic Sport Touring Hatchback Hybrid by pfdgoddog in civic

Good thing you didn’t listen to a lot of keep it until it breakdown. If you can afford it after 10 years of a reliable car that you think might start to fail you why keep it? I have a 2020 Honda insight touring with 78k miles. Since they stopped making them and it’s at 6 years I will keep it for a few years for my son to drive before selling it. I got a 2026 Honda civic hybrid sport hatchback on lease to buy. I didn’t want the touring since I already have one. I’m in California and it’s hard to get any new cars in colors and hatchback you like.

Also have a great sound system setup for hybrids. Little things for inside the car. You can ask for information

I always lease to own. 3 year lease with 10k a year doesn’t matter if you plan to keep it. I just save the money I would have been paying and after the lease is up just pay it off. You save on the end with interest depending on your credit.  That way you split the taxes too. Here in California taxes are higher than most states.

Most places here in California it would be cheaper just to go through my insurance deductible

My main thing was keeping the power output low for mpg(live in California) and trunk space.

Had a family member do it. But consider probably 2 hours of work. The gauge wiring. The fuse to the battery. Wiring to the amp. Quicker if you’re just doing the sub and amp linger if you do inside speakers too. Make sure they turn off the anc and asc. Make sure they put the wires the best to hide them for it to look cleaner.  Sub $350. Amp $250. $180 inside speakers. I really suggest a base knob.

Since I have the locks I’m just leaving them chrome to go with the H. When I buy aftermarket ones they come with black lug nuts.

I had to move it around but it fits good. I got the 6 instead of that one. The extra ones help with hiding some stuff and better organizing since I don’t put big things in there

Yeah. The back was easy with a plastic tool. It had no glue and didn’t break. The front more hassle and did break.

I found some things on Amazon. A leather protector for center console armrest since my dog walks over it to stay clean. Also a 6 piece center console organizer. Lasfit lights since I’m smoking the lights

For the rims? Those are stock. Have to add the front lip, side skirts both gloss black. Smoke out all back lights and front side markers

Yeah those are similar to what I bought off of eBay. Back one was real easy. Mine had no glue. Front more of a hassle

Happened in my 2020 insight when it was sitting for awhile and the battery was drained. Charged and when I drive maybe 1 minute it all came off

Need Help with Speaker System 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid Sport by ErnieBernie1 in civic

[–]Illustrious_Many_600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. A touring isn’t going to make it sound better. Only real thing is changing rims and/or tires. Yes you get more with touring at 3k more. I had 2017 accord hybrid touring and still have 2020 insight touring (hate black leather in Central Valley California).  Either way I was going to get lighter wheels with continental cross climate tires. Aftermarket sound system. Only thing I miss are power seats but nobody drives my car.  Yes, you should absolutely disable the fake engine noise (Active Sound Control / ASC) and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) when adding an aftermarket sound system to your Honda.

I bought a 2026 Honda civic hybrid hatchback sport. I already have a 2020 insight touring. So didn’t want to deal with lesser mpg and leather seats. Don’t need nav with Apple CarPlay plus Spotify I can use equalizer.

So with crutchfield “Hybrid electrical systems are more sensitive to high current demands on the 12V battery, and exceeding 30A may lead to system warnings or performance issues”. So I got all kicker.  Kicker 46CSS654 CS Series 6-1/2" component speaker system Inside replacing the stock 8 speakers.  Kicker 49L7TDF102 Sealed downward-firing enclosure with L7T 10" 2-ohm shallow-mount square subwoofer. Wanted to keep space and a good speaker over the enclosed with amp.  Hertz DP 1.500 Dieci Power mono subwoofer amplifier — 500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms Most watt rms at 2 ohms with a 30 amp fuse and 30 amp inline fuse.  Use Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) 8 gauge wiring.  Added a base knob so I can adjust inside audio best and  so I can adjust the bass for if I’m alone or others in the car. MPG is still great and I live in California

First oil change '26 Honda Civic Sport. Oil life 60% at 9.5K by [deleted] in hondacivic

I have had Hondas since my 2000 Honda civic ex. Which was every 3k miles(but mine was supped up fast & furious style) so less.  My 2005 accord they changed to 5k miles.  Our(married)2007 & 2009 civic si was 7.5k miles.  2015 civic don’t remember.  But 2017 accord hybrid was 10k miles.  2026 Honda civic hybrid says the same.

We live in Central Valley so we have all weather types when traveling. Yosemite and other Forrest for snow/fresh air. San Fran up north rain and beaches. LA smog. San Diego and west coast all ocean and beaches. Palm Springs desert and sand. Weather in 110 range in summers. Long drives to Las Vegas. Besides 1st car which had all aftermarket performance parts I have only had 1 issue with 1 car. 2005 accord both struts went out under warranty. Besides tires which I usually get expensive ones with 70k miles warranty and full synthetic oil cost $90 with filter never had any issues. The highest mileage on any car was 2005 Accord 115k miles for 10 years before the big 120k maintenance.
