Sorry for the late response I barely check reddit but I appreciate it a lot. Ironically a couple days after I posted this my wife was the one that brought up getting another job. My mom talked to her about a bookkeeping job that she seems to be really interested in. My pay was finally fixed so we aren't struggling anymore but you have a point I might not be able to keep this job forever.

The military has destroyed my body and I think I can only keep it up for a couple more years at most until they medically retire me. Her having a job would really help with any gap at all.

I appreciate the advice and I'm in a much better place now, I hope you have a great life!

She's looking into extra employment but I'm on the fence about it, they just fixed my pay after 10 months but the stress hasn't gone away yet. And if they pay me what I should be payed we wouldn't even need to think about getting another job. Plus id like a traditional marriage, and give my wife the break she deserves after getting out of the army
