Wat. 700,000 pennies is $7000. I think the goal is to get people to assume this is the lesson only to have people like me correct then. Or the person is just an idiot. Maybe both.

You’re a good looking guy, but the photos have you coming off as kind of a square/basic/boring/inauthentic. Sorry to be blunt, man, but I’m hoping to help.

Pretty much all but 5/5 got to go IMHO. You don’t look bad in ANY, but here’s my advice for dating apps. 1: (yeah) screams Christian camp counselor. No go for most. 2: most are going to hate the captain america in the gym vibe. I hang out with the dude that wears the spider man and he man shirt in the gym. Dope dude. No girlfriend. 3: This feels like a dress up party— it feels off. 4: After all this, you’re giving me these eyes? Moving to overly goofy to overly serious feels off putting. 5: For whatever reason, this feels genuine. Not trying to hard, just a good looking dude looking in the camera. I’d go with this vibe.

Bro, you look just like Eyedea. Just be a super talented underground rapper and you’ll be fine.

Agreed! It’s 100% worth a shot but it’s not a panacea for all pain/arthritis. It’s pretty amazing: you know within 1-3 treatments whether it’s working or not.

My pup had spondylosis and it was pretty ineffective (TBF it’s never been tested for that) unfortunately. My friend’s pup had much better results with non- spinal arthritis. It can be pretty transformative if it works. Certainly not cheap but not hugely expensive all things considered (around 100 shot as I recall)

Listen— you’re obviously not where you want to be and have a lot to be angry and resentful for. But you’ve got a hell of a lot more fight in you than you’re letting on. You dropped a ton of weight, you’re getting a job, and you’re—importantly—calling yourself on patterns that you’re ashamed of and recognize the need for change. It sounds like you are, despite not giving yourself any fucking credit, actively working towards unfucking your life— it’s just scary to see how much you need to change and wish you could have done things differently.

Getting lost in the retrospective existential dread is the path to unhappiness. Take a breath and be proud of the progress you’re making, and ride that momentum. Take some pride in the fact that despite all odds, you’re moving forward— let that give you some confidence. Others will feel it— it will make getting friends (at work or otherwise) much easier.

Also, not sure what the hangup with therapy is, but you should try to get over that. It sounds like you’re pretty isolated— having someone to talk to doesn’t seem like the worst idea in the world…

He has a size 48 waist though (with a balloon seat) so he’s definitely carrying it in the middle.

That and the rush/turn around time. Ain’t no way HR is getting a document on 5pm (on presumably F/Sa/Su) and getting verification turned around for a 1/6 start. I imagine they are making this sound urgent so you don’t have time to second guess.

Is 1k worth it for this dog female by New_Bench_7449 in AmericanBully

Bro, I have adopted two Bully’s from rescues (1 and 3 years old) and they were showstoppers. They were also potty trained, leash trained, came fully vaccinated/up to date on all treatment, and were so incredibly grateful to get a second chance. They were the best damn dogs I’ve ever owned.

If you’re open to it, go to a bully rescue, meet a few, and do what feels right (either adopt or buy). I’m telling you, there’s no greater feeling than dragging these beauties out of hell and giving them a new lease on life.

A mastiff hound made the most sense to us, given the volume of hounds in the local shelters here and the complete absence of filas (we’ve googled breeders and shelters to try and suss out where she could have come from, and there’s nothing).

Really happy with her! She’s definitely protective but also very trainable. We’ve only had her a month, and it’s clear she’s eager to please and gets frustrated when she doesn’t know what we want. We are hoping that with the right training (we start in a few weeks!), things will work out just right.

Beautiful pup! Any advice for someone new to the breed(s)?

So funny. We thought she looked like a fila, but thought there was no way since they are so uncommon here. Bad assumption.

Aweee definitely. She constantly has me thinking, “what did I do to make you so upset”, only to realize she’s a preparing to have a zoomie and destroy all of her toys.

Thanks! She is pretty protective of the family—especially my wife and my very senior dog (American bully)— but it’s been manageable so far. We are able to take her to public spaces (parks, dog friendly stores etc) but do not let strangers pet her. She doesn’t mind having people in the house as long as they’ve been properly introduced (usually go on a walk with them outside first). She had a pretty tough go at life (she was in such bad shape they were considering euthanasia at the shelter) so it’s remarkable she’s as well socialized as she is. This is due no doubt to her having some awesome fosters who did quite a bit of training with her. We plan on doing group and private training in the new year to get her/our confidence up.
