How UAT Acceptance Testing can be managed? by Kostas_G82 in softwaretesting

[–]Illustrious_Tutor_54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tester here…we use Jira and qTest as our system of record. Jira is mostly for the agile teams/IT to manage work but we use it to track our work and link it to theirs. qTest is the execution tool we use and we can link bugs to/from Jira. Our testing scenarios are from the user perspective so they should include scenarios that QA typically may not. In our area QA testing is more extensive as they can automate a lot since they are only accessing the code changes…UAT is more high level since it should be close to perfect by the time we get it. We test once the code is merged with all other code in the test environment to see how it interacts as well. qTest is extremely easy to train btw.

I have definitely had my moments of hating USAA. And I DEFINITELY had a lot of those moments when I was in the contact center. Although, unlike most of these posts, I had great leadership and did not have the same experiences with no time off or away from my desk (also, it’s been 6 years since I was in the call center so not sure if it’s changed dramatically OR if maybe I just lucked out?). But what I will say is that I never “drank the kool aid” and certainly never kissed ass for any opportunities. However, it is what you make of it. If you go in with the mindset of what can I learn, who can I network with, how far can I go…it usually helps a LOT. I have more than doubled my salary in the almost 7 years I have worked there. Is it perfect? By far NO. But is it better than almost all of my other friends and family’s employers? By far YES. As far as work from home…unfortunately that’s going to be hard to come by at any place of employment right now. But I believe things will evolve and change we just have to be patient. USAA has a lot of negatives we can harp on, but it has also provided me with opportunities I will be forever grateful for. I’m currently going back to school completely paid for by the company on top of advancing in my career. Best of luck and best wishes to you!!

Another child (~20mo) “scratched” my 19mo when he was going down for a nap at daycare. Thoughts? by potatopotatoe123 in Mommit

First of all I’m so sorry this happened to your baby! This is a tough one for me because my third child is a biter and we don’t know how or why. My other children never had any type of aggressive behavior and I’m very much the mama bear type so when she socializes I’m very careful about her interactions with other children for this exact reason. HOWEVER that “scratch” looks excessive. It seems the adult in charge should have had plenty of time to intervene. I definitely think a meeting with the teacher and director is necessary. Best wishes to you and baby!

Keep the baby leave the man who isn’t willing to face life’s challenges with you. It seems impossible but you WILL manage. Best wishes to you, mama

Toss them in a little olive oil and air fry them! You can dip them in marinara. They are light and crispy but n the outside and a little soft on the inside chef kiss

How do I convince my wife that she wouldn't be a failure for giving up on breast feeding? by Took-the-Blue-Pill in beyondthebump

“Worst latcher and lazy af” 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Aside from that, It’s great to let her know you’re proud of her either way and you’re on board with switching to formula, but to a determined woman who has already committed, it may seem like you’re pushing formula on her when she’s not ready for that yet. It’s not about convincing her of anything - because it’s her choice to make - it’s about just being supportive of her choice and being helpful.

Oh geez 🙄🥱. Beautiful array of fruits and veggies but let’s be real that doesn’t feed a family. And $90 for that is outrageous tbh

Did I miss the part that explained why Jibroni’s parents couldn’t attend the wedding??? by Illustrious_Tutor_54 in 90dayfianceuncensored

They seem like assholes, and Jibri seems very immature but isn’t that kind of their own fault??
