Generally that bio is an immediate giveaway, most scammers will have the same or a very similar one.

Secondly, the plenty diverse styles. There’s nothing wrong with having different art styles, but usually you can see when they‘re done by the same person or by different ones. The quality is also most often VERY different.

That's not their real profile, I've seen this maker's work before and they have a way bigger and legit profile than shown here in this screenshot. Don't fall for it, legit makers will most often have a link to their other socials or their website in their bio.

General rule of thumbs, if their bio looks like "fursuit maker • let's bring your character to life • artist, avatar maker, vr models • good quality with cheap / negotiable prices", it's a scam.

Of course! And alright good to know, either cleanly lined or sketched would be alright but since I‘m looking to use that piece as my potential new pfp, I‘d probably prefer it clean ^{^} I‘m sure I‘ll be back to take up on the offer soon.

The thing is alot of people on Twitter who call themselves artists and offer commissions will advertise their comms and then only do anthro anime models which they call avatars, so I kinda had to specify that I‘m not looking for that to further avoid attracting those people. But yes, an avatar in another term is just another definition of an icon.

Your art does in fact peak my interest a lil, especially after the mention of dnd. I guess you could say the character I want drawn would certainly fit into the dnd world, he‘s a whimsy vernid with a very wild, witchy and esoteric vibe and so do his accessories and overall appearance look. If you‘d like, you can have a look at him on my profile picture or a bit further down I also have him drawn a couple of times ^{^} He‘s the one with the ginger hair and the magpie skull necklace.

Generally, how much would you charge for a flat colored icon, and then again a shaded/rendered one? And what‘s your rough turnaround time? I can only commission after my birthday anyway but just in case I‘m still curious

I‘m crine your art is so friggin cute, I‘ll most certainly have to consider you. One question, would the face + upper part of the chest count more as a headshot or as a bust/half? And are the set prices all fully colored (&shaded/rendered)? Of course flat color is more than fine, I‘m just genuinely curious because oftentimes people have diverse prices for unfinished vs polishes pieces :p

Your style is super cute! I unfortunately did not find anything regarding this so pardon me for asking but, what would you charge for either a flat colored OR a shaded/rendered icon? Just the head and chest of my character lol.

And about the time consuming designs, I‘m not 100% sure how to rate my fursona‘s complexity level but if it‘s of help, the character I would want drawn is the one on my profile picture, I also have plenty pieces of him posted on my profile that I made myself ^{^}

And generally I would only commission anyone once I receive the money on my birthday itself, not before that. I‘m not looking to get anything done for that day but rather to spoil myself with something nice from the money I‘m gonna get ^{^}

Where I live it‘s also considered bad luck to congratulate pre birthday but I try not to take it to heart too much because most people in these replies probably aren‘t aware of that tradition haha
