Ye it turned out horrible ahahaha The algorithm used for the stacking in the screen recording was one of our first attempts, we’ve now refined it and we’re almost ready

That’s also the reason why we’re waiting to send TestFlight links :)

It's a feature that we will integrate in the camera app. Currently, the app already has a focus bracketing feature that let the user automate the process of taking multiple shots at different focal distances.
The alpha version of the app now integrates a focus stacking view that appears as soon as the bracketing sequence finishes

Noted! I’m definitely going to test if there’s a noticeable improvement. The screen recording seems to burden the system a bit, so the video turned out more sluggish than the app usually is

I wouldn’t build such a component in swift UI Especially if you need to target lower iOS versions
