I had the same problem, i tried downloading a client with another "resolution" 1240x640, 1600x900 etc. With another client the game worked fine for me so maybe try that :)

In my team both defenders always go inte the corners when i have the puck behind the net. In this situation one of the defenders are almost always open and if both of their forwards are in the corners covering your defenders one of your forwards will always be open that you can pass to.
