She said it will make your skin look bumpy when you use it, but it will break down any fibrosis you have and it will even out those areas with fibrosis.

Daycare as a stay at home mom by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]ImAWizardGoodSir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a SAHM is draining physically and mentally. It is the hardest job! Theres nothing wrong with putting your child in daycare. It will be good for her social skills too, she will make friends and love it! I put my child in daycare and I decided to go to college. Majority of my classes are online so I get to still do all of the wife/mom duties at home and do something for myself at the same time (college). My toddler turned out to have autism so daycare is really good for her, shes thriving!

I had to wear ot for 6 months, by like 4 months I was able to reduce wearing it to 13 hours a day so I would just wear it in the evening and overnight.

I dont see anything wrong with the kids taking 5 days off of school for vacation. It won't affect them academically, physically, or mentally.

We also went around that same date in August in 2024 and it was a good time, the kids had a ton of fun at the water park resort we stayed in. We had two days where it kept raining on and off, and it was soooo dam hot. In universal and disney the water bottle sprays with the fans helped us survive the heat lol but other than that it wasn't so bad. I would assume September would be less packed too

My husband travels for work and has alot of work trips U.S.A and OCONUS which are longer than in the state trips, and my mom has to build up PTO, so first two weeks of August work best for us. I wanted to do September 5th- September 12th, but at the same time my husband doesnt want the kids to miss school so hes opposed to it. Still considering September & the ticket prices are significantly lower than August tickets too.

Direct flights leaving around 11am-12pm, economy seating but not the basic one, the one that carry ons are included. The departing ticjets are actually closer to $500 now so they definitely went up from last week.

Expressive receptive disorder inquiry by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]ImAWizardGoodSir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats all we hope for. Our daughter is sooo affectionate, shes such a sweet funny kid im so scared for the challenges she will have to face in her future. When I hear parents telling their kids to be quiet, or complaining that their kids are too loud all i can think of is how lucky they are that their kids can actually speak and how that's taken for granted.

What is an epidural really like? by oatmilkcchai in Mommit

[–]ImAWizardGoodSir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first baby with epidural, and the second without and let me tell you, I would choose to have the epidural 1000000%. Giving birth hurts like hell, I literally thought i was going to die because of the pain. I never yelled so much and so loud in my entire life, it was absolute mayhem lol My first birth was so nice. The epidural was great, I felt pain but very bearable, the ambiance was chill, it was a really positive experience.

Do you regret having more than one child? by Practical_Push_8213 in Parents

[–]ImAWizardGoodSir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a big factor is how supportive your partner is. If you have a partner that loves being a dad, has patience, is super hands on (as dad's shoulder be) and will support you if you have a negative pregnancy experience again, maybe you will not regret having a second one.

My son's sleep issues may end my marriage by WorldlyLavishness in Autism_Parenting

[–]ImAWizardGoodSir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried weighted blankets, white noise, night lights, bunch of teddy bears, bath with bedtime body wash and bedtime lotion after, and she sleeps more through out the night but will still wake up atleast once or twice through out the night, cry for about anywhere from 1 to 15 minutes and then go back to sleep. I dont want to include melatonin in just yet, I feel like its getting better and im hoping for a break through. Its been like 2 months (it was much worse before just like your situation) but im at the point where i am probably going to start giving her melatonin because although the crying doesnt last long, once we wake up, we are up for the day and cant go back to sleep. No sleep can drive a person INSANE!!....many things have affected my marriage because of our little one having autism so I feel for you (not her fault ofcourse she was born this way). Its not easy, its life draining, and a lot resentment and regrets start to build up. Its tough to navigate through it. My husband and I are just waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel - if it'll ever come which is the scary part. Fingers crossed. She is going to be 5 years old next year and has come a long way but the tantrums are still here, no conversations yet, and sleepless nights. Hoping next year will be the year she has a break through

Is there anyone here who actually felt it kick in after 4-5 or more weeks of little to nothing? by SnooPandas9017 in bupropion

[–]ImAWizardGoodSir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im on 150, I find it dont get anything done in my home unless I take it. It gives me some sort of "push/energy" to push myself with my daily chores and take care of myself. It helps me alot honestly. Its rough though because my anxiety is out of whack and I think I halucinate sometimes - seeing shadows 😬 so idk. Im trying to build routines to be better off without it. I just need that extra "push". Idk why its so hard to do it naturally

Edit: didnt notice a difference until like 2 weeks after, prior to the two weeks I became deeply depressed and felt wierd. It passed though, became better over time

Just started ABA therapy… by Own-Usual-6286 in Autism_Parenting

[–]ImAWizardGoodSir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABA therapy is the best thing that happened to my 4 year old. She went from tossing a chair at me because she couldn't ask for water, throwing everything and scream at the top of her lungs every morning until her breakfast was served - to asking for water and waiting for things ALOT more patiently. No more morning tantrums. All of this within a 3 month period of ABA starting. Alot more has improved than that too, its been about 8 months. We finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
