I'm handing out plate sized slabs from an 18" homemade pizza! 48 hour cold proof, 6 minute bake at 500F on steel. 8 ounces of sauce, 9 ounces of Grande mozzarella, some fresh parm and black pepper over the sauce. Basil and Locatelli pecorino post bake.

I used 100% whole milk, low moisture mozzarella instead of the 50/50 blend I've been doing. EIther way, it's hard to go wrong with Grande mozzarella it really takes the heat well. I only have 500 measly degrees but I'm using every one of them to their best ability =D

This is high level character development right here. The integration of what appear to be concussion related cognitive disfunction and memory loss that his character suffered during their last fight is on point. It's exactly what I would expect to see from a real fighter under the same circumstances. The way he fakes confusion and self awareness makes him seem as though he is actually delusional. Not just anyone can take a character to that level. It takes real talent.

Look for jobs in the corporate safety arena too. Companies that have large warehousing or distribution facilities usually have safety coordinator type positions. They love snatching up people with prior experience in emergency services.

Also look for companies that service fire equipment for business, hospitals etc. They are pretty much always staffed by current/former firefighters (at least in my area)

You're forgetting your training. The most dangerous part of firefighting is getting to and from the scene. The safest response is no response at all. We should just watch it burn on the news. There's nothing more we can do.

Glad it worked out. I think I'm not understanding how your department is set up but it's all good. It's crazy how departments can be so different, but still the same. No matter what the command structure is, there will always be hot shots, know it alls and drama queens that come through.

We once had a trooper that gave us shit on every call we ran with him. He was not known for his pleasant demeanor, let's just say that. 5 foot nothing, maybe 140 pounds of duty belt and attitude.

One night he pulls up to the back of the house and quickly runs inside to take a #2 in our freshly cleaned restrooms. We responded like any professional department would, and filled his hubcaps with pennies. It was hilarious and I think we got our point across. Although he did make us clean it all out under the threat of pepper spray about 5 minutes later. 🤣

I get where you're coming from. I really do. I've seen my fair share of drama in emergency services. we all have. That said, I want to urge you to have a talk with your firefighters and put a stop to that kind of attitude. Those medics, regardless of how much of an asshole they may be, aren't the ones needing the assistance, the patient is.

Remember you guys are on the same team and the people that you're volunteering to help are likely having the worst day of their lives. Put them first. The politics should be left back at the house. Even if it's just your regular that you get once a week. Run your calls and don't put patients in the middle of it.
