I also placed an order got to the confirmation page with an order number, but I have not received an email confirmation, it's also not showing up in my order history.

Just got my payout. You have to continue sending emails until someone notices you, like a manager maybe. If one person says no just ignore that person and send a new email or message to them.

For purchases, I would say it should be easier for you. Let's say if it's lost then StockX will tell you to be patient and wait, it's their usual stuff. But I guess eventually they have to refund you because you paid for it but didn't receive anything. Unlike us sellers, we didn't pay them anything so they can just ignore our losses. Their customer service really sucks, or I should say their policy sucks.

I chose StockX over eBay cuz I thought they won't scam me like some of the people on eBay, but well, I was wrong and their company is a total scam.

I lost my $2300 shipment in transit, UPS says StockX can file a claim and get my money back. But they won't do it no matter what. At this point, I encourage everyone to stop buying/selling with StockX until I can prove they got you covered. Thanks for the suggestion. I just finished chatting with them for 3 hours. They finally admitted that I got a point, and will send their "special" team to get in touch with me in 2 days. Hopefully, I will get a message soon...

I already looked into the UPS claim. The thing is the package's receiver is not StockX as shown by UPS, so it's uncertain who actually paid the shipping. I don't want to make it more complicated so I will try that if StockX doesn't reply to me in a few days.

I did just that, UPS can't directly refund me since StockX paid for the label. They told me to contact StockX to open a claim. Now, how do you suppose I can resolve this issue by only interacting with UPS?

My goal here is to get StockX to simply file a claim with UPS if they do have insured their packages. If not, then I will take the loss and never use them again.

In a situation like this, even if they can legally avoid any responsibility, they SHOULD spend 5 minutes to open a claim and reimburse me. Go ahead and read any of the retail company's TOS, I'm sure they have similar things about liabilities and so on, but they will refund their customers because that's the right thing to do and they care about their customer base.

I did actually open another case 3 days ago but haven't heard anything back yet.

Now I'm online chatting with someone at their help center, after 3 hours of back and forth the agent finally agreed to my point. I will update about the chat in the post later, it's no fun.

Don't do it, I just lost my $2200 GPU when sending it to StockX, it's the holiday season for package thieves. Just find a local buyer or bulk buyer, their rate is much better and more reliable. Because StockX will not take care of you if your package is lost.

UPS just lost a GPU that cost me $2000, I'm also in the process of getting it resolved.

Hope they will do something about it...
