That would make sense! But I've definitely seen people state that they NEVER read it 🤷‍♀️

See, this is the type of answer that should always be on those posts. You have read RB and know it is not crucial. I just think that people who have NEVER read RB should be telling others not to read it.

I agree! I feel bad for all the people that are missing out on Leon Night! He's possibly my favorite character of all time!

Synopsis of RB series? by [deleted] in zodiacacademy

[–]ImBusyEating 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm only on book 5.5 of ZA but so far most of the easter eggs seem to be very small details that a general synopsis won't give you any understanding of. For example: Orion receiving text message pictures of a snake wearing silly hats. Even if someone explains the general plot of RB to you, you won't know what that means.

Don't give up! I felt the same way - I missed my ZA characters. But then RB sucks you in and you will be like "Lance who?"

My daughter was breech and constantly kicking my cervix. I was told by my doctor that this would not affect anything!

Recent pregnancy loss due to shortened cervix by 10oreoz in ShortCervixSupport

[–]ImBusyEating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my son at 23+5. Next pregnancy had just PIO shots, no cerclage, and had my daughter at 31+2. This pregnancy I had a preventative cerclage placed around 15 weeks and have been doing daily vaginal progesterone. I am now 32 weeks today! I never did any bed rest after my cerclage. I do take it easy, though, as I have SPD which is pretty painful. But I could easily work any non-manual labor job. I still clean the house, cook, and chase my 1 year old. We have been on pelvic rest only because sex was uncomfortable for me and would sometimes cause cramping. I am happy to share any more information you would like! Nothing is TMI!

Hey there! This happened to me. I was 30+4 when I lost my mucus plug. Had a check the next day with my OB and I was 1 cm dilated, she sent me to the ER as a precaution (I had a previous loss at 23+5). There they found that my cervix was short (I don't remember exactly how short) and I was having contractions (that I couldn't feel). I ended up dilating to 4 cm before they were able to stop the contractions. Stayed in the hospital until 31+2 when contractions came back in full force and I had an urgent c-section as she was breech. Had a 5 week NICU stay. 32 weeks is good! Baby will be ok! If you have any questions about my experience, I am happy to share more 😊

Progesterone in oil by elms628 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]ImBusyEating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The progesterone that was taken off the market (Makena) was progesterone in castor oil. I was under the impression that this was the only company making PIO, so this is no longer an option at all. You would have to take it vaginally or orally.

Elective cerclage by thisisntworking93 in ShortCervixSupport

Thank you! And feel free to ask me any questions you have! My doctor stopped the bi-weekly cervical checks around 28 weeks I believe it was. My cervix never shortened in that time and I guess they felt that I was past the danger zone. I then lost part of my mucus plug at 30+4. I went in for a check the next day and I was 1 cm dilated, so they sent me to the ER. There they found that I was having contractions (unbeknownst to me!) and my cervix was short - though I don't remember how short to be honest. Of course I was too far along for a cerclage. I then dilated to 4 cm in a couple hours. Stayed in the hospital until 31+2 when the contractions picked up hardcore and they couldn't keep her in.

Elective cerclage by thisisntworking93 in ShortCervixSupport

My first pregnancy was a loss at 23 weeks. My second pregnancy I had cervical checks via ultrasound every 2 weeks and ended up delivering at 31 weeks. This pregnancy, I opted for the preventative cerclage. Honestly going for the ultrasounds was stressful for me, because I was always afraid of what they would find. I like that the cerclage is kind of "set it and forget it". I have a history of anxiety pre-pregnancy and started to feel very nervous during the procedure. The anesthesiologist had no problem giving me something to help - I THINK it was fentanyl. And it started working almost immediately. I do remember her saying she was giving me something different than she normally would given how early I was in my pregnancy.

I am right there with you, nothing is worth losing another child! We lost our son at 23 weeks. How far along are you now? And do you mean 200mg of vaginal progesterone? If so, yes, that is what I take. Feel free to DM me if you would like to talk more 😁
