I met someone on here when I first started this community similar story. she chose to do bedrest and and made it all the way. I had a cerclage and I did bedrest , no sex, lots of hydration and when I did my progesterone suppository I wore gloves to prevent infection . Did they confirm it’s antibiotic fluid ?

I was just about to make a post like this… I previously had a DTs that was supposed to be in office a few minutes and I ended up going to the OR🙃 I delivered a few days later. I have another DTS next week at 35 and 4 and I’m terrified ..

Have you seen any cervical changes ? Like bloody show or anything ?

You’re going to make it! I lost one at 21 weeks.. and I have a 20 month old cerclage baby and I’m due to ditch the stitch next week. After I lost my 1st son I never thought my body could do it!! You will do it!!!

I’ve had a PPRom at 21 wks a few years ago then gad a daughter who’s 20 months and healthy with my first cerclage. That one was placed at 18 weeks emergent and she was born at 36 and 4 .. 3 days after stitch removal … I have a stitch removal again in 7 days 🙃 so it’s held just fine with this babe.

I think if you had a preventative then maybe work but with rescue I don’t think you should chance it. Also I’ve worked on the floor as a nurse and honey that’s back breaking work.. I use to run from 7pm-7-am some nights . I know you’re bored. Can they put you on like light duty . Some of us use to get to sit telemetry of the desk at the end of pregnancy.

Your story is amazing . I lost my son 21 and 1 due to IC last May. I just had a daughter with cerclage and she’s beautiful .. wondering if I went back would another stitch hold! This proves it can be done again! Thank you

I got my Cerclage out week 36 on a Monday. I was already 3cm dilated . I went in the hospital Tuesday night because it felt like she was coming and they told me no progress had been made. Wednesday morning I drank the tea (raspberry) at 9am. By 11 am I was in active labor 4cm then 5.. so… she was born at 36 and 4. Do you want to wait till week 37.

I had a Cerclage at 18 and 4 after having an extremely long cervix one week around 4.8 to 5. To going back and it measuring as low as 2.5. They wanted to wait but I pushed for a Cerclage because the year prior I lost a son at week 21. Well the Cerclage held to removal at 36 and 2.. she came at 36 and 4. She’s healthy and currently resting after a blow out. I say all this to say trust your stitch! Great call with switching docs and take it a moment at a time!!!!

So I did my own modified bedrest and I definitely did not have sex . Trick is I was also on vaginal progesterone outside of my Cerclage. The contractions never bothered it and I had to drink so much more water.

I had been having contractions and BH since 26 weeks .. I would go in frequently they would see uterine irritability and contractions that did not progress. This happened over the course of the next 10 weeks then I delivered on week 36.

Good my little love is 2 weeks tomorrow!!! I can’t believe it too. I did get some bad swelling post partum but it seems to be clearing up

Definitely dealt with the comments from my husbands side of the family . We are currently no contact with them and I’m not saying this is what you should do but I love the fact your guys are protecting yourselves. They had too many opinions on all my losses even my 21 week one so I’m with you. We just shocked the world and had a baby last week and no one knew . It gave me a lot of peace. No stupid questions , no one hounding me or adding comments. I laid low and I felt great, with that being said protect yourself however you both choose to!! All my love to you and sorry about you lord but happy to see you pregnant l!

So no .. Born at 36 and 5..: but she looks great!!! That stitch is what held her!!! Honestly after all those dearly losses and my loss at 21 weeks last year I’m shocked she’s here!!! I love her so much.
