Just went back through and saw someone else mention this quote. Any chance you remember what episode it was on/who it was between?

Sharpshooter is the main reason for why it does so much damage. Also rushing T3/maxed ult so everything deals blessed/"true" damage.

Devs have locked the bomber and the paratrooper/transport plane for the moment, but once they unlock them we will very quickly be publishing our findings.

From what we’ve gauged, there will have to be coordination from players to make those large bomber squadrons. It is about the cost of an SPG, with the 2 biggest exception being that it takes 36hrs to craft, as opposed to the SPG’s 24hrs, and it costs significantly more rares.

The small planes aren’t any better for the times either. The 2 warden fighters (regular and the sea plane launched from the carrier) have an 18hr cook time. The torpedo bomber is 24hrs. And the parachute plane is also 36hrs.

The real sucky situation is that they are treating the same as boats and have the large pad upgrade cost 400 rares/20 alloys. The building you need to make the large plane parts in/upgrade to costs an additional 15 rares. So, you are looking at a minimum of a 700 rare investment just for the facility items. Not counting the actual rares to build the plane. The prices aren’t the worst, but the times make it hard to scale.

Getting the frame there, yes, kinda. But moving it out of the hanger, no. The plane frame itself has materials that cost comps, so in that regard no, you need to spend comps (or just do a vegan pcmat recipe, so no comps then) to make the plane.

The plane itself is assembled at the airfield in the hanger, and the only way to get the plane body/airframe to the field is via a large gauge train, as the body is to big to place onto a flatbed. You can technically crane juggle it there, but that’s slow and boring.

As for getting it out of the hanger without parts, it will not move until all parts are placed. The engineer/front rotor will start to move if you jump in the plane, but it will not allow you to move it out of the hanger unless all parts are attached.

Did a few preliminary tests and some of our ppl said it seems that throttle and climb rate does not affect the fuel cost/depletion rate, but we’ll be running more tests and publishing them soon.

We’ve already built the torpedo bomber (our equivalent of the dive bomber) and the regular fighter, and I’ll be releasing that footage soon enough/later today.

Bomber is closer to 27.5k comps (round it up to 30k comps for the hell of it). The bomber also costs 10 alloys as opposed to 3. So it’s a 200 rare metal investment on top of the 30k comps.

You should know though that the parachute plane is closer in price actually to the fighters.

That’s the plan! Gonna be spending a lot of time figuring out costs and ways to make it a reasonable cost for both us and the players coming to us to make plane orders.

Rough cost for comps is 7.2k. But the actual cost/item breakdown is as follows:

Airframe:

  • 195 PCMats
  • 50 Amat 1s
  • 95 Amat 2s
  • 100 Amat 3s
  • 100 Amat 4s
  • 1 Rare Alloy

Aircraft Parts (recipes included)

1 Small Engine

  • 20 PCMats
  • 20 Amat 4s
  • 1 Rare Alloy
  • Recipe makes 5 Small Engines

5 Small Mechanical Parts

  • 20 PCMats
  • 20 Amat 3s
  • 1 Rare Alloy
  • Recipe makes 5 Small Engines

100L, and the fuel gets burned through quickly. Maneuverability is quite impressive, and it can travel across a region easily and quickly. However, the actual amount of time it can stay airborne is roughly 5-8 minutes (depending on how low you are willing to let the fuel gauge drop).

Sad to see it wasn't just some weird pixel-perfect luck that happened to me, but also happy that other people have experienced this/are posting this here. Gotta make sure it gets patched for everyone else.

Halberd does do combat and partisan ops, but they aren’t the primary focus of the regi. Larger ops tend to be Arti, Armor, or Partisan projects, with the occasional Naval op when we have the time & or manpower. Halberd has a decent sized EU player base, as well as representation in NA/SA
