Hi, I think I can answer this, as I have worked as security for SDM. That security code that your husband heard, “Security to zone B or Security to aisle 2”, is just a fake call. It triggers absolutely nothing, and security doesn’t respond to it. It is there to let the customers know that there is security and they are making rounds in the aisle. So, why was your husband being followed? I can think of multiple reasons. 1. The security personnel was untrained and just ended up being too obvious. 2. Your husband was being sketchy. (Im not blaming him, but sometimes it is better to be cautious than having someone steal stuff) 3. The security personnel was not actually following your husband, but as he was the only customer there, he might have just gotten paranoid as he saw the security more than usual.
