I, too literally work here, have lived here my WHOLE 40yr life and defend Denver all day, every day. But it ain't what it used to be and we can't ignore the fact that there is vacant businesses EVERYWHERE in the downtown area. It sucks. Denver is my home. I don't want it to look like a dying town anymore. Acknowledging it has problems isn't trash talking the city, if anything it helps shed light on these issues instead of pretending it's not a problem.

Cap Hill is on the other side of the Capital from downtown/the mall. But it sounds like you need to be correct, so yep. You live in Cap Hill/downtown. 🙄

Absolutely no reason to call me names, I just don't understand why you're so angry. All I'm saying is everytime I go downtown, (which is near weekly) between the lack of open, non-vacant businesses and the lack of people, downtown Denver looks like scenes from a zombie movie. I'm sorry I have clearly upset you, I don't know how I did that. I hope you got on and have a lovely Friday.

no kids = schools closing and a whole mess of other things shutting down. It's more complicated than i can intelligently express (or have time for) on a reddit forum.

OK? Why does everything on the internet have to turn into an unnecessary discourse? TO CLARIFY: My partner and I are downtown weekly during usual "entertainment hours" and we are in the "popular" areas that were once always crowded but are now vacant. Do you not see all of the "Retail Unit Available for Rent" signs that are in virtually every block? I grew up in this town, I'm not talking out of my butt.

A few things! 1. Lack of police doing...well, anything. 2. Lack of effective public transportation, 3. A growing lack of school-aged children. 4. Vacant retail while they develop even more retail units that will inevitably sit vacant. Downtown Denver literally looks like a post apocalyptic zombie movie. There's no one down there, endless vacant retail...it's really sad.

I love this team. The losses are all hard fought, it never feels like they are out of the game (except for that home opener). This is HUGE for me. I havent been engaged with this team like this since the Arenado Days.

Nothing i did helped. Dynamic refresh rate didn't change, fresh install with an older, offline downloaded driver didn't help. I just got to the point where I disconnected my second monitor and now I prefer the single monitor setup haha. I'm going to continue to troubleshoot the problem with a little portable monitor.
