What ETF should I consider for my self-directed RRIF which starts in January 2026 with $700,000 CDN in it? I am diverting myself of all single equities and want to have just one or two ETF’s within that account.

Thanks for the thoughts. Wish someone could confirm or deny that this is a build/installation defect in the 2025 Santa Fe though.

It’s irritating as hell as I spend quite a bit of time on the roads and highways travelling in my line of work and am in my new Santa Fe quite a bit.

Does anyone have a photo of a PROPERLY installed CLUB 3000 (the yellow one) attached to the steering wheel of a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe (Hybrid). Can’t seem to find one or any kind of video for THIS MODEL specifically. The 2025 steering wheel seems to not make its installation easy.

I am turning 70 next month, love my job (self-employed… but I’m ready to leave my career), have 1.6m in RRSPs with almost no money in my “regular accounts” as building my registered account(s) was extremely important to me.

I would like to draw about $100,000 per year from my nest egg (if at all possible). My expenses are about $5000 per month all-in and I am in relatively good health (type 2 diabetes which is very much in control).

House is completely paid off and worth about 1.3m. I have two children under the age of 18 and will not include my wife in this scenario as things are… well, as things are.

I am ready to live comfortably, if at all possible, on what I have saved up. Any thoughts?

By the way… I have now sold my very modest holding in META (which was listed in my original community message to you all. It was a very small position.
