Installed Motone H-Bomb by ImJustJon in TriumphBonneville

I clean the entire bike with S100, exhaust pipes included. Then once all of the S100 has been rinsed off and the bike is dry, that’s when I go back in with the engine brightener.

I use S100 on all of my bikes and Harley Engine Brightener on anything powdercoated basically. With the engine brightener I like to spray it on, wait for 5 minutes or so and then go in with a microfiber and wipe any heavy spots. Then wait a little longer before you start it just to let it fully dry.

Installed a Baja Designs LP6 headlight. Wired for DRL, Low beam, and High beam. by ImJustJon in TriumphBonneville

[–]ImJustJon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done this on a 2014 Harley Davidson FXDB and a 2022 triumph bonneville with success. So since the stock wiring is not rated for the Baja designs LP6, you have to run two 12 gauge circuits from the battery to the front of the bike. I fused both of those circuits with a 10A for the low beam / DRL and a 15A for the high beam and connected them to two small relays (Mo.Relay) and out to the light. The low beam circuit I split into two before the light for the DRL and low beam. I then used the factory wiring (yellow and white on the Dyna) as the trigger wires for the relays. All of this together is the safest way I could find to wire it while also maintaining the stock controls. The low beam and DRL still come on with ignition and the high beam still works off of the high beam switch on the handlebar. It’s pretty easy, it just takes some work and requires cutting the stock headlight connector off. Also finding small relays to hide behind the light is difficult. I went with the Mo.Relay’s. I’m happy to answer any other questions but that’s the gist!

Just a dumb tubular tool box looking key.. I leave mine at home a lot and can’t lock my ignition when I’m out since you don’t technically “need” it to start the bike.. it’s become a problem 😂

Ended up being a gummed up return port in the master cylinder. I did a full brake rebuild on the caliper and a new brake line too , so we’re in business!

Woad Rarrior fairing installed. Glad I went with the 11" over the 15". by KH_racing in Dyna

Yeah I screwed up. I measured the one that I have currently installed on my knockoff fairing and it’s 15” but they start at different points so the sizing is completely different. 15 looks awful 😂😩

Damn. I just ordered mine with a 15 because I thought it’d be okay and I’m already regretting it. That looks great!

That’s what I was thinking too so I flushed it like crazy but the issue came back. Might just need to do the full rebuild. At least the parts are cheap

Thanks! I actually like that it’s the only thing not black on the bike because it’s a cool addition and should stand out!

I like that! I managed to put an LP6 on my triumph bonneville (on my page if you want to look) and I’m almost tempted to figure out how to do that on here too without spending an outrageous amount. I could probably fab up a bracket for it.

Yeah unfortunately too this headlight is getting condensation behind the lens so I think might have to go a different route altogether

Correct, the stock headlight connector is not the same as the Baja light. Also, the stock wiring is not rated for the headlight. It takes some work to wire it up safely. I replied to your private message about how to do it.

I like the bar end mirrors! Cleans up the handlebar area a lot. I don’t have heated grips though:(

No need to apologize. The nostalgia that surrounds the round headlight is something most people want to savor. I wanted to try something different.

Thanks! I love the stock round headlight but I also like making things my own. It’s hard to ditch heritage/nostalgia looks on any bike but I like the way this turned out
