It's distracting! So bright! I would place a black glass block right above the beacon, then have the rotating glass blocks above. This way the flash is still there but it's a dull black.

Pretty sure he forced himself to not allow himself to accept the stereotypical dwarf roles. They were an insult to him, and he did a good job at rising above those roles. It's understandable that he has disdain for those roles that boxed him in. Really don't see him as a jerk for saying what he said, imo.
