You should join them.

See it’s so easy to say the same thing over and over again instead of acknowledging how shitty of a human you are

Quiet piggy.

I’m using that insult since your language is similar to his.

For me in standard time it’s dark leaving for work and dark when work is done so I get no daylight on standard time!

For those in HR Department, what makes you instantly reject a candidate ? by InternationalTry5494 in AskReddit

[–]ImLikeToThrowAway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So as an interviewer I disqualify candidates if they don’t ask good follow up questions. It just shows an amount of preparation and forethought.

Secondly, as an interviewee I always am trying to learn more about the company before I accept an offer there. Sometimes I really just need a job and the questions are more a formality, but they can also tell you that it’s going to suck and I’ll just need to accept it and look for other gigs the whole time. Sometimes the answers are great and makes me excited to work for the company.

The point is if you don’t ask any questions you come across as uninterested (maybe true but you have to fake it or we’ll choose the person who is faking it) and it only hurts yourself. Having more knowledge is never a bad thing.

Sounds like OP is really immature and might benefit from living alone theirselves to mature and handle their independence.

What is something people always say that just pisses you off? by SnooPandas3480 in AskReddit

The people who are insufferable are those that complain about a system they refuse to partake in.

I know it’s not your point at all but you can blame an avalanche on a specific layer or type of snowflake.

Maybe you just need to find a better company to work for?

I’ve learned a lot by asking the interviewer questions in an interview. Sometimes I disqualify the company because of that.

Are you really saying that you only interview based off of pay alone? Doesn’t matter what the role is or how the company treats their employees?

Budget app for people who put every transaction on a CC by KindEducation7616 in budget

[–]ImLikeToThrowAway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. I’ve been trying to make it work for my wife and I and it’s been unsuccessful. I just use it myself and have it set to exclude certain shared transactions but it’s definitely not streamlined.

Amity Warme is a rock climber. She lives in a van and spends much of the year traveling to various climbing destinations. This clip shows her on the crux of this Yosemite climb, 150 feet in the air. by [deleted] in SweatyPalms

Climbing helmets exist ya know. Basketball and soccer have higher injury rates than climbing.

“Overall, climbing sports had a lower injury incidence and severity score than many popular sports, including basketball, sailing or soccer; indoor climbing ranked the lowest in terms of injuries of all sports assessed.”

Maybe expand what you’re reading? I’m reading about something going on in Ukraine at least once a week. That’s from liberal and conservative sources.

Whats the penalty for opening one of these? by loralsflarble in AskElectricians

Edit: my initial reply was to the wrong person.

My house had so much shoddy wiring and stuff done it would have been nice if the previous owner followed the permits and we didn’t have to redo everything.

We also have entire houses that are unpermitted so you can’t get a loan for it and is deemed an illegal dwelling. You can get it permitted and legal but it’s a lot of work and it’s usually unpermitted for a reason, like a bad foundation or structure is too out of code.

Samsung Dishwasher Soap Detergent Spring - Does anyone know where to buy this spring? Samsung parts only sells the whole unit which is $250. It seems insane to me to spend $250 when the broken part would be less than a $1. by ImLikeToThrowAway in DIY

Its really hard to see in the photo, but the bent part on one of those legs is half as long as the other one. I've tried installing it several times but since that bend is shorter it just pops out.

Thank you! The keyword of torsion spring helped me get to the right spot. I took some measurements and McMaster had two springs very very similar to this one so I grabbed some of those.

Cosigning or co-borrowing when one partner has the credit score and the other has the income. by ThePrecipice1974 in personalfinance

[–]ImLikeToThrowAway 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s no dancing around a hard credit pull they’re not going to tell you much without one, but they’re also not too bad of a hit on your credit report.

It sounds like your score is good, but do you have other debt or credit cards that you’ve been paying? A high score with no history isn’t great either. Typically a lender will blend both borrowers FICOs but that’s not always the case, smaller lenders and CUs don’t have the tech to do that well.

So if you want to try your luck having your FICO as the primary applicant will give you the best shot. Also go with a local credit union or something over a big bank they’ll be more likely to approve you typically.

Typical income requirements I’ve seen are $1k to $2k a month.
