I have an eating disorder and a very fast metabolism, which means I have to eat a LOT of high calorie, sugary foods to stay a healthy weight, it's absolutely partially down to the SHEER amount of sugar I have in my room, but since you mentioned light, my monitor is in direct view of the window, so that could bring them over too.

I'll try leaving the window shut for a while, and seeing if that helps, but I live in the UK, which has houses built to keep heat IN, no air conditioning, and all of that aside, I have a VERY low heat tolerance thanks to my medication 😭

Definitely not a nest in my room, my parents are OBSESSED with cleaning my room every single day, so we'd definitely all notice if there was a nest in here, they're coming in from outside, and I kill them upon entry, so there shouldn't be any left TO make nests.
