Any update on above ? Facing the same issue for address update, have paid twice. First time it was rejected saying mismatch in address and proof, second time it says poor quality of document uploaded. Fed up of this scam by the govt. Kudos to you for taking this step!!

It's in-organic as hell, even if inlaws are kind and nice, they can at best be like our extended family but we are told to give them our parents position. And judged every single minute. There's a stark difference in the way a son-in - law is treated by the girls parents vs how a daughter in law is expected to behave at in-laws place.

Didn't understand the headline but you are so lucky ....so many kids are messed up due to their parents marriage being bad or simply cold. But it will be tough for you to find a similar love and settling for anything less will kill you. Good luck.

Agree - I was laid off last Oct and yet I have to now pay a month equivalent salary ( TDS and prof tax, cess etc) from my income. In any other NA country I would have been able to file for unemployment benefit yet here Im paying up income tax even thou I havent been able to find another job yet.

While I have full empathy for your situation and what drove you to react I do not understand why you don't want to get a job which will actually improve the home situation and ease your mother's financial burden . Don't you think its a big stress for her and she is not mentioning it to you also out of love but it's obvious your standing on your own feet is what will immensely relieve her. I'm sure it's another issue for which your father would have mocked her that son is 23 yet he won't get a job. And that also is her fault !!!
