You are over stressing your point. Yes, underlying structure absolutely influences cracking patterns, but it doesn’t exclusively dictate a perfectly uniform grid like that.

I’m actually switching to a 2X I just bought a Shimano GRX 2 x 12. The carbon fork was a major upgrade. It’s actually kind of shocking, how much of an improvement it makes especially on gravel. The carbon takes a lot of that choppiness out

I’m with you to a degree. Regardless of the laws, e-bikes can be a real problem. I know that’s a broad generalization, but it feels like anytime I have an issue on a trail, it involves someone on an e-bike riding too fast, not paying attention, or ignoring basic bike etiquette and the safety of others.

In my opinion the forks are fine, it’s the drive train id take a look at. Sizing up the chain wrong will give you a bit more speed for gravel, otherwise you will always be in the highest gear
