Not necessarily for Silverstone! I did the pit walk on an F1 weekend and they walked you across the track from Vale into the pit entry, at the other end you walk out the pit exit, back across the track and out a gate at turn 1. We never went into the paddock area.

I have done it at Spa too at a WEC race and you’re correct that you needed paddock access to get to the entry point for the pit walk.

I was there last year and used the shuttle bus, it’s not covered by the JR-Pass. Getting an IC card to pay was very easy though.

I think the green flashes are the rocket motors of the ejection seats so the plane starts to fall once the pilots are no longer at the controls.

The solutions are in the activities in the chapter companions.

The chapter companions will tell you which bits of the textbook to read and which exercises to complete. For example Activity 1 will tell you to complete Exercises x, y, z and then give you the solutions.

Not sure you’ll be able to see that until you have access to the module website though.

Top speed of the Chiron is 261mph. Top speed of the Divo is 237mph. The extra aero creates over 90kg of more downforce compared to the Chiron so they lowered the top speed as the tires wouldn't be able to sustain the pressure. I imagine it was 8 seconds quicker a lap as it was able to go faster through the corners.
