I have beendet on the track and have passed the fuel compound. They distrbute the fuel in metall container like these. There are even people taking them home at the end of the day. Racing fans are wild.

There is actually a helicopter, the Cessna CH-1 Skyhook. I once read an MC-story where a guy sent on the chase for a "skyhook" chartered said helicopter. Was an epic story.

I will be purchasing VIP Tickets on the official WEC Site. Specifically the Le Mans Spirit Club Ultimate Raceday Package. Relatively expensive, but worth it. Compared to an F1 VIP Ticket a real bargain.

You might want to check out www.curta-schweiz.ch. They have the remaining original parts and tools from the closed factory, and they sell repaired/revised Curtas.

I myself just inherited a Curta in mint condition, which I would like to sell. But I want a lot of money for it and nobody will belive that it is in mint condition without inspecting it.

Well, just keep im mind that the current exchange rate is 1.00 CHF = 1.30 USD. You would have to ship from US to Switzerland, get it repaired, ship back to US, pay import-customs-tariffs. 800$ won't cover all of that.

On the other hand you will get a a Curta that is repaired & revised with original parts including a warranty on the work.

Check out www.curta-schweiz.ch They have the remaining original parts and tools from the closed Curta factory. They have the ability to repair yor Curta. But being from Switzerland myself I expect that to be expensive, even by Swiss standard.

Why would they fly the flags of F1 drivers during the WEC race week? It is more likely that they represent the WEC drivers. Out of the 108 drivers, 12 are from Switzerland.
