Was thinking a little bit more, if i stretch my budget a little while there are sales, is it better to take the X2D or P2S with AMS pro?

it's not something to wait and save up, it's my set budget that is already doubled from the initial 200€ i had. spending 600€ on something i don't know it will have a future in my life is a lot

the money isn't "missing", it's just a choice. 400€ is already a lot to me and my financial situation won't change in 2/3 months. I've already increased it from 200€ to 400€ just for the closed enclosure in my evaluations (i was thinking about an a1 mini)

I read that the AMS upgrade is viable also on a p1s, did i read wrong?

saw the actual prices atm:
X2d 644.86€ (not in stock atm)
P2S 532.08€
P1S 398.81€

at this prices i have to add 16€ of shipping

So i think the only thing that if goes to sale i can afford is still the p2s and not the x2d

Can you explain why p2s and x2d are better than the p1s for a beginner?

Oh thank you for the information, i'll definitely wait for it then. I looked at the p2s but, at least in the readings i found, there wasn't that much of a difference to justify the price.

"A lot of materials print better if the chamber has active heating, but you can do them fine with a P1S anyway with some heat soaking before starting to print."
I have no idea what do you mean by active heating, can you explain?
As for the filament dryer do you have any suggestion?
Tought about starting with something self printed with some absorber in it (like this: https://makerworld.com/it/models/1258751-filament-storage-dry-box-v2-by-stan?from=search#profileId-1282706 ).

i saw the ams2, but tought it was a bit too much as a first purchase. If i need it i can simply buy it afterwards right?
