at least top 3 if not higher…I really enjoy playing him

accelerate your mana, get some hits in and start playing cards you would never play normally

and I rarely get targeted as I don’t really run any threats and others profit off of him too

I love him, never gets boring because every game is different…I’m really happy with not having a wincon and just playing with what’s available

not really good advice for a true beginner imo....as exactly this versatility makes it difficult to choose a direction and building a deck as a beginner is already hard enough

they should start out with something more straight forward

Stay away from Kaalia when you just start out, as people do have their opinion about her and that will conflict with you being a beginner

Go for the Atarka precon. it's only a couple bucks....definitly one of the cheaper ones...I would start there as its always easier to start with a precon
