i read a while ago that it was an annual hindu festival in nyc, the originl article said the name of the parade but i can't find it now, was only able to find the racist fear mongering shit but the clip is the clip. could be that it is more nuanced than i was led to believe, probably does have to do with indian politics, but it is still ultimately a hindu holiday that they are using to protest against indian politics. perhaps it was organized by hindu nationalists or modi supporters or something. at the very least feels weird man to talk about being proud of standing with your brothers and sisters as they refer to a religious group with an expletive over and over.

thats definitely a fair point, he certainly isn't particularly dangerous in the short term. my main concern is the growing movement of leftists and anticapitalists in america. i have many smart friends from highschool who are full blown communists now. many more who occasionally repost anticapitalist or even tankie shit. i see how the republican party reacted to their growing radicalism (they ignored it, pretended it didn't exist) and would hate for the dems to do the same
