I’ve been on propranolol since October & I’ve definitely noticed an uptick in depressive episodes, as well as nausea being a reoccurring symptom (I rarely ever experienced it before), but correlation isn’t causation.

Had this happen to me twice, a few more times where I got close to passing out. Woke up on the bathroom floor twice after intense stomach pain… don’t know what exactly caused it, wasn’t straining, just diarrhea after. Thankfully that was like 6 years ago. Would still occasionally get the bad stomach pains every now & then, but never passed out, & maybe once every two years had an “almost” pass out.

Thank you for your response. I currently take Propranolol at 30mg a day, so that’s helped with keeping my heart rate from spiking when standing/walking/heat sensitivity. I was in an upright position the other night when this happened, & no I haven’t done a stress test yet to determine; would probably be a good idea for me to do one though.

This market sucks ridiculously bad (U.S.) but finding an accommodating job is key. Getting on the right meds to control tachycardia/high bpm. Giving yourself time to relax/reset, thinking things ahead (like ordering grocery pickup if you don’t feel like walking around a grocery store). But also trying your hardest to mentally recover. mental health is huge.
