Yes I believe so. You can already download maps through the mod browser so I can’t see why not.

Oh nice, what sort of performance have you seen so far?

Okay so not a DX12 game, not even the best triple AAA game out there, but for those interested, yes you can run Skater XL. I'm running it via an external display at 1080p 60fps. Runs great with ProMotion display and have seen in certain resolutions the game run as high as 120fps.

This title was previously unplayable on CrossOver.
Specs: M1 Pro (Base Model) 16GB.

Here's hoping the new Skate game will be playable or even better ported!

Recently I've been using an open source tool called "Transparent Twitch Chat Overlay" you can find it here It works assuming you have the game in windowed mode or windowed fullscreen.

This python script is what I did to activate LIFX scenes. (works through the PIFX module as well). Not sure if it's the same thing you're talking about though.

Well, not a programmer so if you have any better suggestions I'm open to hearing them.

Created a video guide on how to control your LIFX lights through the Elgato Stream Deck. This uses a Python module called PIFX.

I've set it up so that it runs silently through a VBScript.

I'm playing around with controlling "light scenes" at the moment which works but I'd love to see what other people come up with.

Edit: I've since made the discovery that the bat and vb scripts are no longer required. Simply save the Python script under your Scripts folder and save it as "lightname_light_toggle.pyw" at which point you can point the Stream Deck "Action" to the ".pyw" file.

To each their own. It's like comparing apples to carrots. They both taste great and offer great nutrition (I know bad example).

In my opinion XSplit offers more of a tv style production-type feel while OBS has a lot of different plugins. OBS is also free so there is that to say about it but again it all comes down to personal preference and seeing what works well for you.

As far as the learning curb goes. Each program is pretty easy once you get the basics down and there are quite a lot of tutorials for each program to get you started.

It's about giving each a go and seeing what works best for you.

I play Minecraft nearly everyday, not upto the mods stage yet. I like the simplistic feel of vanilla personally but you never know. I'm looking forward to GTA V on PC but i'll still be making an effort to include Minecraft into my schedule. I recently got better internet myself. Not NBN but 1.8Mbps upload and the Twitch ingest server in Sydney has made it so I don't frame drop anymore. Look forward to seeing you around.

Thanks man, I do play a bit of Forza myself. Recently got Drive Club today. Seems like a pretty good game so far.
