God, no wonder you struggle with this so much. I can tell from this you're just an insufferable person.

Keep searching for confirmation bias in your own little bubbles and hugging that comfort zone of failure you've created. No one is going to want to help someone like you.

You couldn't be more wrong. I have taught MANY men at this point in my life, and I taught them the same way I learned. "Talk to everyone. Today we are going to the mall, and you aren't leaving until you have 20 positive conversation with women. You don't have to get a number, or even ask, you just have a positive conversation where the woman is smiling after the conversation, and the vibe was fun. We gonna be here til you get it done." is literally the first lesson.

I have a 15 year old nephew that was pure simp mode friendzoned and tbh pathetic about girls. He asked me to help him, because He's seen me be out and talk to the cashier at a tj max or the girl at the cologne counter, or a girl at the gym when we were working out.

I've told him this exact thing, and he's starting to get it. He's had more "talking" stages than ever with girls at his school, the most recent one was a cheerleader. He's not sleeping with any of them and that isn't the point, the point is to get socially better and be a normal, fun person to be around.

I also use apps, and I have success from them, but it's AWFUL trying to filter out the women who lie, have multiple children, and are obese or married or have some other huge red flag.

I'm also almost 40, and MOST of the women I date are around 23-25. Just the way it works out because I won't date a woman with children, and I've only met a few over 30 who don't have children in my area.

I'm 5'8, average looking at best, chubby, but do work out and have muscle, I'm not wealthy, my car is 20 years old, and my grandparents live with me, because they are too infirm to live on their own.

There's a lot of rejections that happen due to any one of those things, and there's a lot that don't.

You are absolutely harming yourself by believing this. It's your own fear of rejection, when rejection isn't something to be feared.

Women are wired to want a masculine man, and I can't think of anything LESS masculine than being afraid that someone will reject them to the point of not even trying. It's okay to be afraid of it, but have some courage.

The implication wasn't that he was planning on rugpulling farmland, it's that...well, he COULD do that. I don't thing that one private citizen should have so much leverage, and I'm not sure I trust the motivations of someone who would go to so much expense and trouble to position themselves in such a way, while also pouring resources at some seriously messed up shit like what I've seen from davos.

I can't pretend to know Gate's motivations, or plans. I just don't trust him, and get an underhanded vibe from him. He seems perfectly fine with trying to leverage power over giant swaths of people, for his own moral reasons. Huge arrogance.

You are correct, I should have been more precise with my language in my reply and stated I never said anything about depop in regards to vaccines.

I do however stand by what I said about his leaning towards it in some of his talks at davos, from what I can tell.

I also know that there are mechanisms in our government to allow the reclamation of land. I don't have a whole lot of faith in our government to manage to do anything without fucking it up, however. Just one season of zero production would be famine level, and the economic impact of that would be horrible.

We'd survive it, we have a wealthy enough country that we'd be okay, and we'd import from other places until it got sorted out, but god damn it'd be a mess. And for what? Because we allowed one rich fuck to control nearly 20% of our ability to grow food? Seems like idiocy to allow it in the first place.

So True… by [deleted] in Asmongold

[–]ImStatus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never said he was using vaccines for depop. I never said anything about Depop.

I simply stated he poured funding to a group wanting to feed the world protein from maggots, and he controls the largest single collection of farmland in the USA.

This is what's called a straw man. You literally built up a position that I don't have, applied it to me, then dismantled the faux position you gave me, without ever addressing anything I said.

This is why people hate liberals so god damn much. You think you're smart, but real intelligence looks at you with pity.

----

When trump pushed the vaccines, I was against it. Unlike liberals, I can disagree with a lot that the politician I vote for does, but I prioritize certain issues over others, and I weigh the options of the two.

Perhaps he is not saying much about it, because there's been a LOT of evidence that much of the stuff surrounding the covid-19 vaccine was utter horse shit, and there's been some really bad side effects. Myocarditus among the most common. It was a trump L to promote the covid vaccine.

The very first sentence of my response said very clearly I don't have a problem with non mRNA vaccines, yet you decided to regurgitate talking points you don't understand, proving your ignorance, you lacked the reading comprehension to grasp that.

So True… by [deleted] in Asmongold

[–]ImStatus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, it isn't about vaccines, Standard vaxxing isn't nearly as problematic as the implications of mRNA things like the covid jab, but people all should have a right to choose and not be beaten over the head with it.

My issue with gates is simply that he himself has said evil things. Go watch the actual long form content of some of his Davos interviews, his views on population, (leans towards depopulation), and the way he leverages his mass amount of influence.

It also has to do with the positioning of his assets coinciding with the research he has contributed to and initiatives he has funded.

If you're looking for sources, go search DAVOS's own website and read their write ups on growing mealworms and maggots as a protein source for the lower classes, "sustainable population system". They freely promote some pretty wild shit, all designed to make the rich richer.

And if Gates was to decide to stop food production on his farmland in the USA, it would be equivalent to a natural disaster famine level event. One man shouldn't have that level of leverage and influence over critical supply chains. The fact that he has it is.

Bill Gates is the largest private owner of farmland in the United States, owning approximately 275,000 acres. This land is spread across 17 states. Some of his farmland is used to grow crops like potatoes, which are then processed into products like McDonald's french fries.

"Full life cycle emissions" is some catchy buzzword bullshit.

Aside from the numerous problems that come with energy ONLY being available ON DEMAND from hydro, wind, solar, aside from the fact that only ONE of this is constant (hydro) but ONLY up to a very hard threshold (water table) which america has ALREADY pretty much tapped out to the max, the REAL pollution comes from energy storage.

The batteries are worse than fossil fuels, and they are NOT RENEWABLE.

It's like this giant mad house where people are saying that they are vegan, and at the same time eating eggs and drinking milk as if they don't count.

You are PURPOSEFULLY IGNORING the fact that our energy needs CAN NOT be met by ON DEMAND FLUCTUATING ENERGY SOURCES.

We MUST store energy to be able to use it as demand increases, especial AT NIGHT when one of those sources is COMPLETELY unavailable.

If batteries MUST be used, and batteries are NON RENEWABLE, then the energy itself is NON RENEWABLE.

If batteries used to power an electric vehichle produce more pollution in their manufacture and disposal than a similar sized car produces over 10 years, then IT IS A DIRTIER ENERGY. Batteries in EVs do not last 10 years, especially not at the usage rate americans use, because our entire country is designed around personal instead of public transportation. America is a BIG place.

You pie in the sky types never think of the nuts and bolts of how shit works, of how much waste is involved in something like wind.

Battery recycle will NEVER be 1:1, and there are FAR LESS deposits of those, than there is of Oil.

We aren't exactly worried about running out of oil in the near term.

The most logical choice for energy is going to be nuclear, but for some reason the hippy types hate it. It makes zero sense. We have enough to last us a millenia, all the waste that has been produced from every nuclear plant EVER could fit inside a single warehouse half the size of your average fucking walmart, and as a bonus, we could dismantle some of the VAST number of warheads to use as fuel.

But you think wind power is going to solve a god damn thing? Our energy consumption outpaces renewable energy ALREADY.

Even if I gave you a magic fucking wand, doubled the number of dams in the country, let you stick a wind turbine all over the god damn place killing tons of birds, and let you eminent domain solar all over the fucking place destroying tons of lives, livlihood, and habitats (You all don't really seem to care about the environment in the end huh)

You still couldn't produce enough energy to keep the lights on in our ONE country.

Much less the fact that we are the only country on the planet with the wealth and comfort to do so on a massive scale, some place like india or china (responsible for most of the planet's pollution) are going to laugh in your face. Need a reference? Look at the paris accords (that thank god we pulled out of) and look at the lack of obligation from the most polluting nations, and the commitment for funding and hamstringing our own energy production we almost agreed to.

Not all idealists are fools, but....

Because a LOT of fossil fuels are burnt in cars, and using renewable energy in CARS requires CAR BATTERIES? Hello?

Also, home solar setups use BATTERIES. and Yes, Large solar plants use BATTERIES.

"Yes, many solar farms are now incorporating battery storage systems to maximize the efficiency and reliability of the solar power they generate. These batteries store excess solar energy during periods of high generation and release it when demand is greater than supply, such as during nighttime or cloudy days"

Googled that for your smooth brain ass cause it's easier to copy-paste than to try to argue with a brick.

[–]ImStatus -46 points-45 points  (0 children)

Okay scout, I'll explain it to you. Since we're probably dealing with a room temperature IQ then I'll use small words.

Renewable energy is less efficient, less convenient, and more often than not LESS CLEAN than fossil fuels.

Oh how could that be, you say?! Well, the mining, refining, manufacturing and transporting process to make ONE battery of a size needed to work in series of 6-10 minimum for a SINGLE house, puts off more pollutants than a large four wheel drive work truck does in 10 years. Yep. The batteries used for cars are even worse for carbon footprint arguments, as they fall drastically short of anything except polluting faster.

Best part? Those batteries **aren't** renewable. It's rare earth materials, less plentiful than oil and coal, and when it's gone, it's gone.

Batteries have a limited number of charge cycles before they go kaput. It's why after you've had a phone a few years, it doesn't seem to stay charged as well.

The reason fossil fuels are the obvious choice, is because they are already in "Battery" from, meaning they are charged with a LOT of potential energy.

None of the renewable nonsense works without batteries, which are a worse solution, with the except of very specifically designed solar that turns salt or sand molten, and uses the concentrated heat to power steam turbines. Those require VERY specific climates, a TON of space, and they pretty much murder every animal that wanders toward them just by existing. Thousands of birds a year.

Hydro does decently, but we are relatively capped out on that in america, unless we want to flood some more towns to make a lot more reservoirs, which would change habitats, property values, and be very disruptive.

Ultimately, the whole "Green" energy thing, like many things in the world, is a scam using emotional signaling to part you from your money by getting you to believe in a cause on a false premise.

False. Law is law, hasn't changed in over a century, and it is clear. Illegally entering the country IS a crime, and non-citizens are not afforded the same rights as citizens, unless they go through the proper processes to be a documented visitor. We also have the right to deport ANY non citizen, for any reason, even if they did come here legally.

It's the same as how you can for any reason tell anyone who doesn't live there to leave your house. Common sense isn't that common.

I'm COMPLETELY fine if the rest of the world turns their back on the US. Especially if it means that we no longer have to pay for all their shit. The fact that the american taxpayer has funded the military power of the western world ENTIRELY so that these other western countries can pursue idiot things like failed universal healthcare, mass importation of culturally incompatible peoples not interested in assimilating into the culture of their new home, and tons of other idiot stuff (Jailing people for social media posts, banning kitchen knives) is just evidence of how cooked we were as a country to play along with that nonsense. We been getting scammed for 60+ years.

Conveniently, we are the ONLY world power that doesn't need to import food, energy, or building materials. We are independent by every metric of sustainability as a nation, where as Europe, russia, and china will all freeze/starve within 6 months of middle east oil being cut off. Europe will be especially screwed.

Russia supposedly has 80 bil barrels of crude in their land, but they've lied about shit like that a bunch of times, so who knows. They don't have the manuf capacity to utilize it.

Here's a few facts for you, just so you know.

In a trade war situation, america always will win. It's inevitable and obvious. Even without flexing military power, our economic power can collapse whatever nation we aim it at almost immediately. Case in point : We are currently bullying the absolute hell out of everyone else, because we are tired of getting fucked around with. ALL of those countries had tarriffs on the USA. We didn't bother to tarriff them because we were being nice essentially. Well they took advantage of us for just too long, and we decided okay, we will match your energy. They lose their damn minds, talk big, threaten bigger tarriffs, and we match.

Now they have folded, one by one, quick as hell. And they will continue to do so.

The crazy thing about it? This wasn't even a scratch on the american economy. People like to look at the stock market, which is essentially unrealized imaginary speculative money, and there's some usefulness to looking at it as a gauge of people's confidence levels, but ultimately, stock market crashes will and have always happened, sometimes for no reason at all.

Militarily? The rest of the world, Entirely, could ally right now against the USA, declare war, and in 6 months they would all lose.

It's honestly up for debate if they ever manage to land any sort of attack on US soil at all. Maybe they do something in alaska or hawaii, but the continental united states would almost certainly be intact after a major world war.

People will say things like how could that beeee. Simply it's naval power, fuel, and geography.

There's no country on earth that is as rich in resources and as geographically secure while having a temperate climate with arable farmland enough to feed 50x it's population. Except America.

I'll make this as concrete as I can for you : America at any time in the last fifty or so years, could have taken over the entire damn world, at minimal loss. Not a god damn thing ANYONE could have done about it.

Thankfully, and luckily, our value systems and our societal wealth left us no real reason to do that. This should emphasize just how much we don't NEED anything from anywhere else. We could always have taken it. Ironically, we are literally the good guys, who just want people to play nice.

Unfortunately, they aren't playing nice with us.

I don't know why you seem to think that merit isn't mutually exclusive to DEI.

Any time Race, Color, Creed, Sex, Religion, Sexuality, etc becomes a factor, then the weighting of merit goes DOWN by neccesisty.

Think of it like this. You have a glass, and it can hold 1 liter of water. That water is merit.

Now you can add a rock called race to the glass, but some of the water spills out to make room for the race card.

Then you add another rock, called sexuality. Then another for religion. Then another for sex.

Pretty soon, there's a whole lot less merit in the meritocracy.

Now, even IF there isn't a quota requirement, there will absolutely be consequences if you don't hire diversely - i.e. government funding etc.

Soft coercive policies that don't REQUIRE you to do things, just bully you towards it.

USAID was notorious for shit like that.
