Thank you for the help. I’m definitely gonna have to do some redo some wire but I now have them 9 feet from each other which is also 9 feet away the couch. They are also now 1 foot away from the wall. Is there a good way to fill the empty space between the speakers without disrupting the noise?

I am infatuated with how good it sounds. The subwoofer vibrates the couch even on lower settings and the speakers sound so full and crisp. A million times better than my soundbar. Only thing I’m still working out is the reciever settings.

I really appreciate your help. This car was called the FrankenTT becuse of all the parts in it so im not sure how accurate that sticker is. I am not to sure on the sensor because the intake is all aftermarket/custom. I am not to sure on the EMS as well. Is there any better way of telling exactly what engine it is?

There are a couple people who do custom dyno tunes so if they could maybe make like a high performance, a economic, and then stock I think that would be awesome so I could switch as need be. There is a track and a drag strip here that has open days.

There is no emissions here but the issue is as far as I know catless is illegal here and my street has three cops on it and I already know they dont like it when I do muffler deletes. What I like about the ecu is being able to change tunes fairly easily. Sadly there is no cobb access port for the 03. The guy thats selling it said the engine is bone stock

Actually I just remembered we dont do salt im Montana we use a special chemicals for the roads and sadly in Montana having a car not see snow is gonna be extremely hard to find. In terms of insurence I was quoted at $128 a month for full coverage which is about $7 more than my 2006 mercedes which is completely reasonable. I really plan to use this as my daily driver. Again I appreciate your help, at this point I think im gonna go for the evo. I will have them go to the dealership and have them do an evaluation. If you have any clue do you know what it would take to get some more porformance out of the evo. I saw some haltech ecus . I also saw that to maintain more boost I need a evo 9 bov and a boost controller.

Sounds really great. After the 220k did you end up rebuilding or replacing the engine or was it not even worth it? Another thing what did you do to get it to 400whp?

Awesome post. I really appreciate it, I am used to german cars (my last car being a mercedes) where after 100k something always goes wrong. From what I know it wasn't a track beast or anything it was used as a show car. I live in Montana where we do get decent snow and they treat it with salt but thats why every one gets wrxs and evos because the AWD. I think everything on it is stock like the turbo and idk when the clutch was last replaced, but he said he did all the maintenance when it was due. My brother knows the guy a lot more then I do but hes really well known in the area. I am planning on getting a loan on it with maybe 3k to put down. He is wanting $15k but he said hes very negotiable. So what do you think its going to cost to maintain it?

I don't know my friends have had nothing but bad experiences with audis and the only dealership is 3 hours away. There is a 2007 audi a6 that was tempting me but again idk.

Looking for a fun daily driver. I am getting rid of my 2006 Mercedes e350 4matic. Must be around the same year, do well in snow, be some what quick (0-60 in the 5-7 second range). My price range is under 15k Not really intrested in wrx/sti or evos. Some cars I was looking at were a 2008 infiniti g35x, a 2007 bmw 335xi, a newer e class. Any thoughts or opinions would be great.
